This is correct. This reboot is officially called "Restarting the Touchscreen." See Driving > Starting and Powering Off in the manual. I have done this while driving multiple times with no effect. There is nothing dangerous about doing this.

With all of the problems that USB playback has, I try to avoid it out of caution. I just switch to another source.

When you do this, the Tesla doesn't keep track of what it has played, often replaying songs you've already heard without having played other tracks.

Why couldn't they familiarize themselves with the HTML version just as easily? You don't need to be an owner to look at it.
