Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

It’s an echo chamber enabled by moderators I mentioned the Tesla Solar Roof lawsuit & it gets deleted for ‘FUD’ Seems some are upset that the TSLA automated teller isn’t functioning as they were lead to believe

"Elon’s tweet does not match engineering reality per CJ." - CJ Moore, Tesla's Director of Autopilot Software

Actually, you fanbois with your altered electric Jesus reality are a blight on these & many other forums Musk (an employee & hence representative of Tesla) has failed time again with his stated FSD delivery dates, yet you revisionist apologists remind me of a meme about fans of a certain well...

Too much interference? Maybe one of the reasons Tesla is trying to abandon radar?

Surely radar would need to be maintained for high speed driving (German autobahn)
  13. N

After what time has passed would you consider an FSD class action lawsuit?

With the lawsuits for Solar Roofs now instigated, customers will become increasingly more comfortable with doing likewise on FSD.

  18. N

    NSW Police Targeting Teslas?

The 2 fines are correct - no indicating, then subsequently cutting the cops off That said, was there no prior sign telling her to get into the right hand left turning lane to turn right immediately after? Or was she simply listening to the voice guidance from maps? The better voice guidance...

    Superchargers in Australia

Fair enough. Impressive. Maybe you were still so young at the time, that you didn’t feel even the slightest twinge of lower back ache If the Roadster has a 1000km real world range, then your feat could be repeated Indicators are also that the Semi will have close to 1000km range laden & you...

Hansshow frunk kick sensor install problem

Yeah, it’s a bit annoying because the frunk is better for holding shopping. So sort of useless if your arms are full. But as mentioned I was advised it’s only the case when the charge cable is connected
  24. N

When will Australia get access to the FSD beta program?

Australia/NZ got the traffic sign beta after USA then Canada, which Europe still doesn’t have I would expect it around September

New Hansshow Soft Opening and Closing doors

Did you pay via PayPal? I agree that they need to improve their responsiveness, but I have received replacement parts from them when required at no cost. These included the signal wires for the M3 auto trunk opener (when bizarrely the first set of wires didn’t work) & replacement kick sensor...

SW version 2021.4.12 - hopeless (in Aus at least)

There was a case overseas several years ago where a driver braked for a dog (I would do exactly the same thing & make no apologies for it), the driver from behind crashed into & the front driver was liable because it wasn’t a justified braking event. Not sure what the legalities are in...

Autopilot is not TACC. I’m interested in the legalities of TACC
  40. N

SW version 2021.4.12 - hopeless (in Aus at least)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but TACC is not in beta? If so, what would happen if on TACC your Tesla crashed into the back of another car because it didn’t brake in time? I don’t think the ‘driver should be in control of the car at all times’ would cut the mustard. I see it as no different to the...
