Are the sizes exactly the same? If so, it doesn’t make sense for one to have different dimensions. Then again, uniformity of tire sizes probably isn’t a thing. Lol!

One of the biggest benefits is the Tesla supercharger system. It is a deal breaker if you plan to even moderately travel. No one has come close, nor will in the foreseeable future.

If there was a fault in the installation process I could see that occurring later, like after you picked it up. It does not look like an impact to me.

I have a Mercedes also that’s way out of warranty. So I’ve kept up the AAA Plus (100 mi tow) membership just in case.

I got the Performance back in 2018, and I haven’t spent a single moment regretting that decision. I’m sure I would have been regretting it had I gone the other way, and probably would have ended up trading for a P at some point anyway.

On the 2018 Performance, its rated range is NOT 310, it’s 299. Makes me wonder what else this comparison is wrong on.

The pre cooling feature from the app makes ventilated seats a non-issue for me. One of the super cool features of Tesla ownership!

Many more folks on the FSD beta. But I still think I did much better with EAP after 3 years. I don’t know when I plan to get rid of my car and get a new one, but I’d rather not have to pay full price for FSD again (now $12k!).

I read recently that Enhanced Auto Pilot (EAP) is going to become available again. Apparently, It’ll be roughly 1/2 of what FSD costs, but I can tell you it brings about 70-80% of the features that FSD currently gives. I’ve had EAP for about 3 years now, and think it’s a much better deal...

If it comes to it, there are Model 3 seats online you can order for way cheaper than that.

I think the Model 3 Performance has a ride commensurate with its compatriots that do 0-60 in 3 seconds. Why anyone would expect this car‘s suspension to be “soft” is a mystery.

I wonder how frequent an issue this is? I have had both the front and rear trunks’ struts swapped out with the stronger struts over 3 years, and haven’t had a minute of issue with them. For the cheap (maybe $50 total?) price, it is such a convenience. I will definitely inspect both setups to...

It’s actually possible now to place the icon on the bottom of the screen so you can see it all the time.

I had this issue for about a year. Tried a few things including replacing the breaker, re tightening the screws, and nothing helped. Then I replaced the outlet itself, and that worked.

I do like the nose of the S over the 3. But for me, in just about all the other aspects of the two, the 3 wins hands down, no question.
