Mine won’t move electronically either. I sent them a video. The struts torque when trying but never go down. Thanks for the above note.

Anyone else having issues where before hooking everything up, you go to move the frunk hood up and down and the struts are locked? They won’t move manually.

If I didn’t know any better I would whole heartedly agree. But every Tesla I’ve owned has been a performance and I regret none of them.

I think “doing acid” is more appropriate.

Just punched in my new ‘22 MYP with 1,500 miles black with white interior and tow, 66.5. Not great since that same model is mid 70’s.

It took 90 days to get my extended warranty refund check back when we traded in our X before factory warranty was up.

I meant to say travel distance. But that may only be for the opening. Any way to manually adjust the struts? I haven’t attempted the install yet and am kinda just throwing out ideas.

Is there a way to extend the close distance with a button adjustment?

We should live life for enjoyment. It is a short one. I enjoy mine more because of Tesla, in many ways. It is a regret-less purchase.

If the B pillar is the seat belt hook then yes. Super annoying. I need to take it in for that and other rattles.

This is sound advice. You may find a good market to sell the stock performance wheels and tires and pick up the more practical 18”. My stealth P3D 2018 came with the 18” wheels and I ran 0-60 in 3.02s w/ 1ft rollout. 11.6 in 1/4 mile with all seasons.

From my understanding, 20’s don’t do well with potholes. However on my Y Perf I have the 21” Uber and honestly they seem fine with mild to moderate sized potholes.

My 2022 build YP had a bad creak. Right in the center back. They took the back off. Lubricated a couple of rubber something in that spot, went away. That was 3 weeks ago.

Was it from DHL?

Frunk is an easier install than trunk. I did both on my 3 a couple years ago. I had a friend who’s pretty handy and we both got it figured out with not such amazing videos. This was not the EVOffer one I’m talking about.

I’m using it for my daily work drive to hold my laptop bag. Perfect for that. I had this on my 3 and loved it. I used it every day. This is better as it can open and close from inside car. The 3’s frunk kit from Hannshow only opened from inside screen. Not close.

And it’s back. 😩

Tons. I had a rattle under dash on pass side. But it seems to have gone away since the weather warmed up. Expansion of something from heat I guess prevents the rattle. Center console creaks so much.

What are those? 22”?

Are these on 19” or 21”? Looks awesome.

The whole paying for towing thing sounds a bit silly. Also what did you end up paying and how many miles of tow was it? Also, they giving you a loaner? Or Uber credits?

Is EVOffer different than Hansshow?

Model Y performance is the SweetSpot car for Tesla. Best mixture of performance, safety, comfort, and storage for the price. Awesome car.

Careful on selling it if it’s very new. Tesla may flag you as a reseller and cancel your new order. Unless you trade it in to Tesla.

To OP. If you take the route of ordering a new one, I would also go to your local delivery center and let the sales people know your situation and see if they can put you on a short list. They will call you if someone bails on a delivery and offer the car to you. Just an idea to possibly help...

According to eletrek, even if you ordered before the removal of the mobile charger, you’re still not getting it :| Update 2: According to Tesla’s chat, unless you’ve already delivery, Mobile chargers are now no longer included even though they were at time of purchase.

A couple things. 1) anyone trading in their tesla for a new one, I suggest not including the mobile connector kit, just keep it. 2) total money grab, if it was not, they would reduce the cost of the car.

Interior rattle noises and creaking is started to get on my nerves. Push against the cushion on the sides of the arm reset console, its sooooo loud. When the car hits a bump, etc. i can hear that portion a lot. Drove a 2016X as a loaner and it had none of that noise.

My only concern of selling a newer Tesla you recently purchased, is Tesla flagging you as a reseller. Possibly banning you from purchasing again. Anyone else hear that?

grey. i removed my covers and powder coated them gloss black. worth every penny.

agreed. my kid reminds me of this marketing scam almost every time we get in the car.

my ‘18 model 3 was near perfect as well. and our ‘18 X was also.

never did service mode. but noticed wipers take forever until they come on. almost blind before they clear the glass. i think it started 2 updates ago.

anyone notice the auto wipers all of a sudden kinda suck?
