Took the car back on Thursday, Tesla couldn't replicate the fan noise so they blame it on something stuck by the fan. Service tech did try to turn AC and heat on and they work fine, so fingers crossed on nothing wrong. As far as the rear defrost, the whole back window had to be replaced.

My 2019 and 2021 model 3s which I drove for about 1 year each had occasional wiper activations and goes away immediately. But man, the 2022 tesla DOES NOT STOP. It's acting as if there's a downpour going on.

Good points, auto wiper is required for my car to operate auto pilot or TACC, since it has to *SEE* in order to adjust speed unlike radar equipped cars.

I don't believe radar has anything to do with it. Our problem is tesla *senses* rain and activates wiper when there's NOTHING. Occasional turning on, I get it. But when the wipers are going non-stop when it's bright and sunny.......

New rebate is currently not available. You'd have to wait 'til probably July as that's when last year's rebate started. Also, it'll be a point of sale reduction and you won't have to file paperwork on your own.

I agree, that's why I'm keeping my service appointment . This is my 4th model 3, I upgrade every year thanks to the insane resale value of teslas, never heard anything like it. Sure there are the humming sound, but nothing like the fan sound in the video.

It depends on the 90 day timeline, not number of times you put it on hold. If you are still under 90 days from OD, you can still push it out. I was able to push it 3 times to the current 90 day limit, now I must take my next assigned vin.

Call Tesla now to ask if they know it's Ryzen or not. As long as you're under 90 days from your order date, you can place hold on it. If you wait 'til delivery and reject the car, then you MUST take the next available car assigned to you or your order gets cancelled.

That's what Tesla advisor said as well, basically let's wait to see what happens. If the storm happens, then all deliveries gets pushed out.

You're right. My friend placed an order for LR, he has no idea about the chip situation. Since he's coming from an old clunker ICE car, even 2018 model 3 FLIES compared to these ancient artifacts. He's not spoiled like some of us (me guilty) here.
