I did not know this! I moved here in 1999 and was told the front plate was mandatory (as it was in Texas, where I came from), so I didn't question it. Think my front plate might be getting loose and could fall off, who knows? Car definitely looks better without the front plate.

I bought a set of winter wheels, tires and TPMS from Tirerack.com. The TPMS cost $59/tire. Everything worked perfectly all by itself. The car recognized them with no issues.

I've made that trip many times. Winter and summer. It's about 170 miles. It's uphill from Rock Springs to Jackson, and there's always some wind, so that hurts the range. But the speed limit is relatively low, so that extends your range.

I'll second the motion for a supercharger in Shoshoni. Or Riverton. Otherwise, Jackson to Casper isn't really possible at 279 miles and a lot of elevation changes + wind.

They do, but Tesla construction seems to proceed in a sporadic fashion. There will be no activity for weeks or months, then a crew shows up for a week. They may finish, or they may disappear for another period of weeks or months. No real way of knowing when they will finish.

They came out and replaced it in mine as well, works fine now.
