I'd only go for a Plaid if it's very new, has the new lights, and at 120k. I don't think I'll find that anywhere.

I want to upgrade to Plaid, but my order is $15k below current MSRP and they won't let me switch to Plaid and retain the same $15k below MSRP. It's just not worth it to switch to Plaid at the current price. I may just take delivery of the LR and flip it.

Hey, 2016 was pretty crazy, too. First the facelift that retained AP1, then there was AP2.0, and then the 100kWh pack. Those are all pretty major upgrades.

Base model almost always holds value better than higher trims and options. The Plaid isn't a limited run vehicle so it will probably depreciate much faster than the LR. Go compare the current value of a 100D and P100D originally sold at the same time to their sale price.
