What I personally did was turn on the inverter, allow the powerwalls to charge up, then turn off the inverter. This at least gave me back up power for any grid outages pre-PTO.

Your battery storage will act as a buffer for any drops in solar output. But the car will not adjust charging rate on its own. So you will want to set it to a fairly low rate to have minimal conflict with your home loads and battery storage.

Partially blocks as stated above but it does cause the sonars to be on red alert the entire drive and is kind of annoying in reverse. Wish there was a way to turn off.
