    Supercharger - Cabazon, CA - Morongo Trail (LIVE 9 Feb 2022, 12 V3 stalls)

no this was for a charging session. I have been driving teslas since 2013 and there were a total of 2 SCs in LA . I think im courteous enough not to block, hog or otherwise inconvenience any one that needs to charge. Conversely I saw someoe block three stalls at Beaumont with their trailer...

Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Main Street (LIVE 29 Dec 2020, 24 Urban stalls)

Out of all the Irvine chargers including the V3s this is never busy and I think has to do with paid parking …at most costs a few bucks it’s better than waiting at the others I use these often I just wish they were V3a

Caution Model X, Hidden Tire Wear

I’m on 22 Stock pirellis never had contis as this is what car came with . Never had alignment done always set to low .. and now at 163k miles I have been consistently getting 36-39k miles per set . Happy with pirellis so probably won’t try anything else

Rancho Mirage there are 24 urban chargers ..it’s at a mall called The River ..pretty much this place got emptied out during Covid ..RM is a separate city from Palm Springs and is actually east of PS.
  19. P85_DA

    Supercharger - Indio, CA (8 V2 stalls)

Indio is so busted down these days , I remember when it first opened, now it’s always guaranteed to have 2-3 offline. I did speak to a supercharger tech who was out working on stall 1a and he did say they are expanding Indio, I haven’t seen anything on map but this is a good place to stock up...

Model X (only) - FSD beta

I never understood this fascination with FSD on city streets .. I’m totally happy with what I paid for EaP on my 2018 it does plenty already minus city streets. I foresee this ongoing with the beta whether it’s hardware requirements or addition computers etc I’m glad I don’t have the button and...

    CHAdeMO

I bought Tesla one in 2013 used maybe three times I would pass on getting one .. in the three times I used the station overheated and the charge speeds went down to L2 speeds ..save your money 😀unless u really need
  24. P85_DA

Do Tesla folks not enjoy driving their cars anymore?

I have EAP does a lot already other than city driving glad I didn’t fork over extra money for FSd ..and I like to drive my car in at 160k miles now 😃

Charging at home decreased to 46Amps

X only has one onboard charger ….sorry OP u need an electrician 😢looks like ur wall connector or panel has issues
  26. P85_DA

Charging at home decreased to 46Amps

Ok thanks I didn’t think they had 3 phase in residential homes in US . There is no recent software upgrade I’m aware of that would change your charging behavior
  27. P85_DA

Charging at home decreased to 46Amps

Never heard a setup with two 80amp breakers. Also is this a gen 1 WC? Poster above is correct cannot diagnose this on internet u need an electrician on site to look at 🤔

Supercharger - San Gabriel, CA - Valley Blvd. (LIVE 5 Aug 2021, 20 V3 stalls)

The robbery was quite violent in camera , I don’t see how a laughing emoji was relevant to that .

Help me decide: Model Y or Mach-E

While generally agree they are all good choices ..IMO spending north of $50k just for local driving an EV isn’t worth it. I concur on CCS etc they are so unreliable and most of times ones I come across chademo/ccs combos are ICEd or broken ..the value of the charging network and simplicity of...

Help me decide: Model Y or Mach-E

With any Tesla since they ramped up production you should set expectations that there will be some quality issues (panel gaps , paint etc ) plenty of threads on here about that. I must have been lucky because when I got my X it was right before the major ramp up of M3 and several years into the...

Help me decide: Model Y or Mach-E

For laughs I did go back and reference that thread ..I have no skin in this as it’s easy decision for me on something like this ..there just is no comparison to owning a tesla …however that thread has some useful info but quickly devolves into cross talk ..kind of like the 600+ page...

Help me decide: Model Y or Mach-E

I would say his original post he had very specific comparisons and perhaps he wanted folks to weigh in on 😀…comparison threads on TMC are like battery range discussions ..u just can’t have one thread it seems 😂

    Question about 2019 Model S....A 2019 that is a P100D?

Lol I thought only BMW owners put Fake M badges on to make their cars “faster” 😂
  35. P85_DA

Help me decide: Model Y or Mach-E

Couple of points from my experience ..I have owned 3 teslas since early 2013.. in my current X I have over 160k miles and have not even changed brakes ..my only maintenance cost is I replaced tires at ~38k miles each. I live in Cali.. so the supercharger network not only is highly dense but I...
  36. P85_DA

Help me decide: Model Y or Mach-E

My understanding is EU only . Possibly the sales person pulled out a L2 adaptor and said he could use that lol ..but everything I have read so far is the Tesla network in US was not what that original comment about opening up to other vehicles was about
  37. P85_DA

Help me decide: Model Y or Mach-E

Fair enough ..not sure about adaptor working in US ..for me it’s about driving the car anywhere like I would do an ICE ..when you drive electric , at least in my case I ended up driving more and for longer distances ..I also charge in garage but for me driving longer distances with the Tesla...

Wiki FSD’s Earliest Adopters Still Waiting

I’m just glad I never paid for this .. I have the old EAP and for it’s good enough ..the city driving while nice is not worth the extra $5k for me IMO
  40. P85_DA

Help me decide: Model Y or Mach-E

It’s hard to make any comparisons of other EVs as the supercharger network is what makes owning a Tesla so nice ! Until other automakers come with a nationwide network I won’t drive any other EV but Tesla ..my own opinion :)
  41. P85_DA

Model X (only) - FSD beta

That’s great I was about to do the subscription to get button …u saved me some money lol …I have the old EAP so a lot of what I have minus city driving is good enough for me..I’m also glad I never gave Tesla my money even with the discount they offered a few years back for $2k 😀

    Supercharger - Santa Ysabel, CA (LIVE 29 Mar 2021, 8 V3 stalls)

Stopped by yesterday and unfortunately half the spots were ICEd out ..not blaming the others drivers as the signage does say 60min general parking and only a few slots have a dedicated EV charging painted on
