Is FSD Beta even used on the highways? I don't think it is, I think it switches to old EAP on the highway.

What Bay Area do you live in where it performs wonderfully? It's absolute trash for me. Best I can do is one disengage every 5 miles. FSD is laughably bad.

It's a gamble. Service will be terrible either way. They don't treat Model S owners any better.

Yes that is correct and your cameras are fine. The only full color camera on the car is the backup camera.

I live close to Tesla's former HQ and nobody around here drives like this.. Maybe in LA sure, but not in the Bay Area. It's so odd how they have the car slam the throttle then stomp on the brakes, especially since it can see the cars ahead with their brake lights on. Not sure what the logic...

Yes I have a very similar experience. I think it's normal. I asked my friend with a new Model Y and he has the same experience as well. It really depends where you use it. In some areas it's ok, in others it's laughably dangerous.

Worth it is subjective.. I get a disengage every 5 miles or so off the highway. The important part is we got what we were entitled to, no matter how bad it is. Where is that guy that was telling us all in this thread that we aren't being added to beta since Tesla already has enough beta...

😂 It's pretty incredible but calling it full self driving is quite a stretch for the reasons you stated. Im getting a disengage every 5 miles or so in city driving. This is a far cry from actual autonomous vehicles that are getting a disengage every few thousand miles or more.

I agree. Now that it's really gone wide, I'd go rack up the miles and wait to be included. This happened during the previous rollout.

So do I. It works fine for me tho. Just went for my first FSD drive. It's pretty damn amazing after EAP only. Maybe try a restart or something? I got in with 97.. the rollout usually takes a while so Im sure more people will be added soon.

They never tested my car when they replaced my cameras. In fact, I don't think the service center has ever test driven my car after any repair. I once picked it up after an alignment and it was done so poorly that I couldn't drive straight out the service center parking lot...

I have a buddy who bought his car a few months back and just got into the beta a few days ago. More salt into the wound but at least they are adding internal testers into the beta, and with the stock price continuing to take a beating, they will be forced to give FSD to more of us to create...

There's a new wave of invited every few months and it appears they are totally random and maybe maybe based on geography.

My score was like 95 when I got it. I don't think it matters. Same problem with wife here but again I don't think it matters

You can't just trust anything coming out of the mouth of a Tesla employee, especially the service center ones, which are basically incompetent.
