    New 2021 Model S Unveiled January 27, 2021

I am sorry I was not clear. I mean the size of the wheels/tires and the actual tire used (because the claim of the new tire used providing more range). I am also interested in knowing if the 19" wheels are staggered or the same. I am aware that on the Plaid they are staggered.

I averaged the same from the very beginning. It’s the tire.

Latest MS 19'' Tires - Goodyear's confusing tire scheme

So here is my update. I had no choice but to install one T0 tire. I am using 11 more Wh/mi. This is super annoying that the service center does not have the right tire and has never heard of it.

Latest MS 19'' Tires - Goodyear's confusing tire scheme

Exactly. I got a nail in the sidewall of a T1 tire. I went to the local service center and the tech told me that the T0 is the latest tire. He had never heard of the T1. I then went to Discount Tire. They "ordered me" the T1. My appointment is tomorrow and it turns out it is the T0 I could...

Elon Musk: Tesla Model S Plaid To Have Structural Battery, 4680 Cells

For those of us that would prefer the most range versus the best performance, should we expect a "non-plaid" version with more range? If not, I may put down a deposit now.

    Raven Tire Wear Observation

I got 20K miles on the front tires, while the rear was still at 7/32. I replaced the front tires with the idea that I would then replace all 4 tires next time.

New long range won’t charge past 361 (instead of 373)

I do not blame the person who posted for being confused or upset. It was advertised as 373. I have owned 3 other Model S, and this is the only one I bought that started out lower than advertised. The reason it matters is because I assume 5-6% degradation over the life of the car. So, the...

I have a June 2019 Build. The most I charged to when I first got the car was 362. I posted about it some time ago. I never got the 370 advertised as well.

I agree. I have also used some of the Georgia Power locations. I would add LaGrange to my original list plus your list.

    Supercharger - Buford, GA

We need a charger in Alpharetta, Dahlonega, Blairsville, Columbus, Cartersville, Brasleton, Bremen, Metter, Valdosta, and Stockbridge. These locations make statewide travel possible for Model S drivers with any battery size.

    AP2 / 8.1 Test Drive Perspective from AP1 Owner

I completely concur with this review. I used AP1 for more than a year and agree that AP2 is making up ground pretty fast. One thing I also noted was when a car merges in from the left or the right AP2 does not react as well as AP1, especially in slow stop and go traffic. I think the progress...

    Firmware 8.1 - Autopilot HW2

I am excited for the future. It's improving fast. That being said, it reminded me of when auto-steer first came out on my 85D. It's no parity with AP1 but it will be soon.

Fair AP2 Questions Tesla Inc. Should Answer

These are all reasonable questions. I am concerned that I have a 100D on order that will have less functionality than the 85D I will trade in. I think it was reasonable for me to expect that the 100D I will be receiving would be at least on par with the 85D I already have.

New 60D. You can later also upgrade to 75D and get essentially the same range of a used P85.

New Owner with Questions 2013 P85+

One charger will give you 40 amp. Dual will give you up to 80 amp if you purchase the High Power Wall Connector from Tesla. With the standard charge cable, you will get 40 amp regardless of whether you have a single or dual charger. This is easily enough to charge over-night from even almost...

New Owner with Questions 2013 P85+

Welcome. Be aware that some think a new person's questions are stupid. Ignore them. 1. No. You may have just one charger. You can tell by trying to dial your charge rate past 40. If you can, you have dual chargers. That being said, you can still supercharge because the superchargers...

    2017 Superchargers in Georgia

    Aero wheels

I think Toyota did a decent job on their Prius Aero wheel. The black area gives the affect of it being open.

    Slipstream or Double Spoke Wheels?

I drove 30,000 miles on my 85D with the double spoke wheels. I averaged 332 wh/mi. I decided to switch wheels when I got new tires (same tires). In 3000 miles I have averaged 317 wh/mi. I am very pleased and like the look better as well.

    Supercharger - Macon, GA

This is my last comment and is for TI Sailor and Chipper. There is someone FB right now trying to charge and wondering where to go safely for a restroom stop or a place to eat. To stay within guidelines of the forum I will keep it civil. The consensus is that this location is a bad location...

    Supercharger - Macon, GA

It's in a dark alley. There are no facilities in the evening or on weekends. It's an area of town where 80% of the store fronts are burned out and closed. There are homeless people all around the area. We must have different ideas as to what makes an area acceptable.

    Supercharger - Macon, GA

Macon is a unsafe location in the middle of the most blighted area of the city. It would be dangerous to charge at night or on weekends.

Macon an extremely undesirable and dangerous location. It's in the back alley of the most blighted area of the city. It would be unsafe to charge at night or on weekends. Hopefully they will move it nearby to a safer location.

The Evolution of Model S: From VIN1653 to VIN55228

I have Vin 1034. I have also noticed much better fit and finish in the loaner cars I have received. One glaring area is the fit of my front hood versus loaner cars. As for mechanical issues, I have not had very much. What I perceive has happened is the service center has done a good job of...

    Decreasing rated range.

50000 Mile Report. B Pack (as a Sig not sure why because never replaced). 90% charge is 223-225. 100% is 249-250. The car will be two years old December 2nd. I am very pleased with the slight degradation. My secret has been to charge to 90% every day. However I set the current to the...

    Decreasing rated range.

47300 Miles. 90% charge is 223-225 depending on the day. Last range charge was 10,000 miles ago at 252. I am pretty satisified. The loss of range was not linear. It most happened near the beginning.

    iPhone 6 Bluetooth Handsfree

I am having trouble with the 6+ but only after the last firmware upgrade on the Tesla. It was working fine before then. I am able to listen to music but it will not stay on bluetooth while on a call. It stays there for a minute and then switches from the car to the regular speak on the phone...

    My 40,000 Mile Battery Report

My normal 90% Battery is 226-227. My last range charge (38,000 miles approx.) was 253. I have a theory on the battery that I have used since day one. I charge at the lowest possible charge rate to get to 90% before I leave for the day. I always charge to 90% unless I need a range charge. I...
