That may generally be true for ICE vehicles, but I don't think it applies to Teslas. They will likely use a factory fresh drive unit. I doubt anything is going to show up on Carfax. I have never seen Tesla report anything to them.

It doesn't really matter what your preference is, the only thing you are owed is for them to repair it. (And what is to say that the next one wouldn't have even more problems?) Not to mention if you purchased via a loan/lease having to unwind the whole transaction and apply for financing again...

I don't think any third party CCS chargers can supply 250kW to a Tesla. (The Tesla voltage is too low for the number of amps the CCS chargers are capable of.) Some can provide ~200 kW, but in the end it isn't really much slower, unless you need a really short charge, since the ramp down takes...

I stunt think we know. They wouldn't give a complimentary upgrade to the FSD computer. In fact you couldn't subscribe until you paid for the upgrade. I wouldn't be surprised if any needed upgrades have to be paid for with the subscription.

I consider that site FUD, it claims to be official but it isn't. That feature has not been released to any public cars. And may not ever be. They often report features that haven't been released. Usually based on Green's hacking in to the firmware, which isn't always accurate.

I've heard that someone had the software fix applied to their Mach-E and then it suffered the failure later. So the software fix doesn't actually fix it. (No surprise there.) If it was me, I would cancel the Mach-E order and get a Tesla. But I never really liked the Mach-E to begin with.
