    significantly improved AP since delivery.

How many fatal accidents were there over the July fourth weekend?
  2. Q

LiDAR - NASA confirms cameras better than LiDAR - Musk is correct

Also, @!igs im not sure if you got the memo or not but now disagree adds to my rep just like a like does, so thank you for the increase in my reaction/post ratio brah…
  3. Q

LiDAR - NASA confirms cameras better than LiDAR - Musk is correct

That wasn’t my point. My point is you could have a lot of sensors but if the price point is too high who cares.
  4. Q

LiDAR - NASA confirms cameras better than LiDAR - Musk is correct

We don’t have any car capable of autonomous driving on any road. Waymo does it on set routes on certain roads.
  5. Q

LiDAR - NASA confirms cameras better than LiDAR - Musk is correct

As I said, plans are plans. Once level 5 is a solved problem, we can make bold statements.
  6. Q

Why Elon Musk refuses to put the 4680 battery in Model S and X

It is wrong to want more range though. It’s dumb. You can sell two cars with a three hundred mile range which is good enough for 90 percent of people 95 percent of the time or you can sell one car with a 500 mile range using the same limited raw material. It makes zero environmental or monetary...
  7. Q

LiDAR - NASA confirms cameras better than LiDAR - Musk is correct

I disagree. It doesn’t prove anything. If you equip a car with millions of dollars worth of sensors it will be able to drive itself. But that car isn’t practical to sell to the masses. So it’s not a practical answer to level 5 self driving. Technology no one can afford is useless.
  8. Q

LiDAR - NASA confirms cameras better than LiDAR - Musk is correct

It isn’t a straw man. It’s pointing out a flaw in your argument.
  9. Q

LiDAR - NASA confirms cameras better than LiDAR - Musk is correct

Once level 5 is a solved problem, we can make bold statements. Until then…. Not so much.
  10. Q

    Undercarriage plastic ripped off

Cars with a low ground clearance are prone to damage from road debris.
  11. Q

Do we have any recourse for this insanely poor paint quality?

Damn people bumping three year old topics. I see @glide didnt like Teslas way back in 2020 and is still spreading the bad news. That’s passion.
  12. Q

Do we have any recourse for this insanely poor paint quality?

Why do you think so many Tesla owners get wraps. Hint: It isn’t to protect the paint.
  13. Q

Horrible 2022 Model Y Tesla Experience

Why? She came over with a rag and mispronounced your husbands name (which you neglect to say what it is). See how much shorter I can say if and see how trifling it seems to complain about it when you shorten it up? Reject delivery…
  14. Q

What’s your longest drive without charging?

I routinely drive 200 miles without charging but I haven’t driven farther than that…
  15. Q

Everything wrong with V11 update / user interface.

Good thing I don’t race down pikes peak on a regular basis…. This is a big concern for those who do however. TESLA ENGANNNNRERRRSSSS GET IN HURRRRRR
  16. Q

When will Tesla modernize OTA updates?

It seems like you can modify at least some parts of the code without needing the key. I’m not a technical guru but the acceleration boost modifications being sold by third party seem to indicate is possible.
  17. Q

When will Tesla modernize OTA updates?

I don’t think most people have your problems. I have wifi that reaches out to my driveway.
  18. Q

Tesla Model Y - Things You Should Know!

Nah, no one writes about 20 pages without passion
  19. Q

Tesla Model Y - Things You Should Know!

Holly *sugar*. With a 20 thousand word tirade there can be little doubt you legit hate the car, on a personal, deep seeded level. I love my Tesla. We could not be friends. Or even acquaintances. I would not wave.
  20. Q

FYI Tesla/Wawanesa labor rate issue on repairs

    Interesting uh…. take.
  21. Q

coolant leak in rear drive unit (12k miles on odometer) and Tesla says someone touched it so the warranty NOT applicable

Your post makes my point. The question isn’t if Tesla makes mistakes. Of course they do, everyone does. The question is if they make mistakes and fix them for everyone except for OP. Your recall links indicate that Tesla is willing to replace things under warrantee…
  22. Q

coolant leak in rear drive unit (12k miles on odometer) and Tesla says someone touched it so the warranty NOT applicable

Anything could have been done. Adding spacers to bring up the cars ride hight or lowering the car is a very popular aftermarket mod to the car that could have been done and possibly someone screwed up. I’m saying we don’t know what was done. I’m saying that Tesla routinely completes service work...
  23. Q

coolant leak in rear drive unit (12k miles on odometer) and Tesla says someone touched it so the warranty NOT applicable

We don’t know what happened. The tech is just an employee who routinely deals with warranted work. He doesn’t have a vested interest in differentiating between a warranty claim and a non warranty repair. He gets paid the same either way. It’s more like that your seller (who does have a vested...

    Mobile connector stuck at 1KWh

Your voltage is dropping. Also what do you mean by 12 amp outlet?
  25. Q

Does anyone regret installing Light Harmonic speakers?

Sounds better seems very subjective. But I don’t really feel comfortable spending 2K on something I don’t like. The Tesla system is plenty adequate and in a previous car I made the mistake of spending big money on infinity kappa speakers which the end result was meh, a little to much treble… or...
  26. Q

Blew something up in the rear!…

Seems like a good way to incentivize cutting corners by unscrupulous techs.
  27. Q

    Like your black Model Y?

Have you seen the blue in person. It looks very dark/dull to me.
  28. Q

    FSD Beta 10.13

I’ll just point out the alternative to fixing the unprotected left turn is potential death.
  29. Q

    FSD impending 5th strike

Ironically I feel like the phantom breaking has gotten worse over the past year…
  30. Q

    FSD impending 5th strike

    June 2020 myawd
  31. Q

    FSD impending 5th strike

Don’t know. I haven’t experienced half of what the forums complain about….
  32. Q

    FSD impending 5th strike

I cannot fathom how people get strikes. I have had beta since the first round of Publix entry and I have zero strikes.
  33. Q

    Cybertruck

Hmm, well I seemed to have a problem every time in rained with dish tv. I think they chose Ka band because it has faster speeds due to the higher frequency. Not cheapness.
  34. Q

Blendmount radar mount doesn't work for model Y :(

Wait… you dremeled a leased car?! bold move.
  35. Q

    Cybertruck

I think that is a limitation of all satellite….
  36. Q

Does Tesla have a big math problem?

Objectively worse? I don’t think so. It is a lot better in many areas.
  37. Q

    Cybertruck

Is spectrum satellite? I thought he was switching satellite providers. Looks like you can stream shows though.
  38. Q

    Cybertruck

Once you have starlink you can cancel spectrum…
  39. Q

    Cybertruck

I think you have to pay for the star link equipment and pay a monthly fee, but I am not sure what you mean by two different internet services. Presumably the cube truck will use the lte/5g networks like Telsa does now. You’ll only need starlink if you want to use it as an isp like Verizon or...
  40. Q

    Cybertruck

You can’t buy a truck from Tesla. We aren’t talking about whether or not other cars are decent. There are a lot of super expensive cars and trucks like the ford lightning they are interesting and worth a buy if you have the money. But they aren’t competing with Tesla and they aren’t helping make...
  41. Q

    Cybertruck

Let’s move the goalposts js a common refrain, but you have to explain how I moved the goal posts. I don’t think lowering the threshold from 90 to 70k makes a big difference in how many people can afford the car. If you think it does I will concede your point. There are some interesting 70k cars...
  42. Q

    Cybertruck

Because while they exist you can’t buy one for any of those prices currently. When did you order yours and what is y the actual price you paid...

Vendor TeslaShields Has the Perfect Fit

Had a shill YouTube video ready to go lol. You are correct, I don’t have direct experience with the company. I’m not saying don’t buy the mats just use caution as the company has a history of shady dealings. As to the merit of my warnings, a quick search of the forums will resolve any doubts...
  44. Q

    Cybertruck

Show me where you can make a reservation for a 40k ford and take delivery of it in the next 6 months. Could have just said maybe in the future their will be competition. Maybe in the future there will be. Doesn’t exist yet. Certainly the revian is interesting. But you can’t buy one and even...
