Its not carbon fiber look.. actually the black color blends very nicely with the blue to extent that is practically not seen from a distance away unless you were looking for the mudflaps.

    Model 3 Mud Flaps?

I saw 135 Wh/km on my 31km way to work last week before putting the mudflaps on. Its a 50-50 mix of highway and city roads. Since i have put the mudflaps on, i got 138 and 137 wh/km. Tried to drive similarly during these 3 days so its very close based on this limited testing.

AWG 8 wire with 50amp breaker

Not getting into fine print. Just keeping it simple. 8 AWG wire is rated to 40 Amps. Car charging considered continuous load which means 80% of that. You will be safe with 32A. Anything beyond that requires electrician or fine print review. I would rather be extra safe than sorry.

    Estimated Delivery Date

I ordered the same on too and was dissapointed with the cupholder cut. On contacting RPMTesla I was told quite forcefully that the cut is the way it is supposed to be since since the vinyl needs to be stretched and that i should watch the install video. Supposedly the cut was made by a $10K...

    NEMA 14-50 Installation in Canada

Wow.. these numbers are expensive! My DIY cost me $250 in materials from Home Depot, 8 hours of my time and $90 for the ESA permit. This allows me to use my existing 100 Amp service with max 32 Amp for the car in my power consumption situation. To be fair, I should also add 0.5 man week of...

    Additional Costs on Pickup?

OMVIC fee of $10, tire stewardship fee of I believe $4.25 a tire and then your vehicle plating fee $27 (for new plates) and annual registration fee of $120(or part thereof depending on your birthdate) would be the additional costs in Ontario. Tesla does not charge any other fees besides the...

    NEMA 14-50 Installation in Canada

Yes, not only did i use 40A breaker as was previously on the stove circuit but also used similar 8 gauge electrical wire- rated at 40A which for electric car charging can be used to a max of 80% load or 32 A. All these details count. The only defect that the ESA found with my self-done wiring is...

    NEMA 14-50 Installation in Canada

I had my ESA inspection done just last week and had no problems. I had the same situation as you that i use gas for cooking and no longer used the stove breaker. So I rewired to that breaker( actually got a new 40A breaker since old one was 30 years old) It seems your electrician might be...
