There are many safety and maintenance updates included with the car updates. If you miss one of these, you may have some issues getting the warranty to cover something fixed in an update. Safety issues and recalls are generally done via an update as well.

It sure looks oily for AC condensation. It also looks too oily for coolant, unless a drive unit or something with lubricant is leaking into the coolant. Need to find the source.

My experience is when you plug it in, it stops automatically after less than a minute, and it isn't charging, it is just low amperage power. Stopping the charging also works.

There is a switch on FSD Beta to toggle it on or off. I have not explored the features lost or added, but if you bought FSD, you get smart summon with or without FSD Beta. I think you would lose all FSD functions and features if you cancelled FSD. You can just toggle off FSD Beta.

It is just a sequence of two "summons" command to navigate to a point. One point is to back up to a point in the "turn area", and the other to pull forward to the forward stopping position. I don't know about the earlier Tesla MS, but since 2018 there is active cooling that uses the compressor and cools the coolant thru a chiller in that loop, which includes battery and drive units. I find the car prioritizes the battery over your comfort.

Please make sure you are not opening the app occasionally and pressing the lightening bolt to check charging, as this opens up the port door. The app can also close the port door, but I think you must press lightening again to turn off charging info before closing the app for the door to close.

Try using the same mobile charger on the new S that you used on the Y without problems.
