Yesterday it was 9 deg C (48F) and with 57% charge I had no regen. The orange dashed line went practically all the way round to the 0 line. :(

Tesla removing transferable supercharging from existing owners?

I brought a 2014 S60, the previous owner paid for Unlimited SC. When it came in to my name it was gone, 400kwh per year only. After multiple calls with Tesla and each person giving a different opinion on whether I should have it / have it transferred I finally spoke to someone who was really...

    Rear doors water leak

Yes but it took 2 attempts. I basically had to remove the chrome strip and completely run a bead of sealant front to back on the body - then refit. After 24 hours I water tested and so far so good :)

    No battery degrdation

I have a 2014 MS60 which shows 180 miles fully charged. I drove it 170 not that long ago, and had 5% left on the dash..... After 61k I’d say that’s not much degradation :)

    HID Projector Retrofit

LED’s can produce less lumens at source (point of light creation) however more of that light can be directed to the road (depending on light optics - like HID there are good and bad) So on the road they are often brighter as they are more efficient. Plus on the Tesla the HID’s produce less than...

When can we expect to see a CCS Adapter for the Model S?

I paid £425 for my retrofit From Tesla’s website How much does a CCS Combo 2 service retrofit cost? CCS Combo 2 retrofit service will cost £425, including the cost of a CCS Combo 2 adapter (£145 when purchased separately).

    HID Projector Retrofit

Would you not be better retro fitting a bi–LED projector? The Nissan one is better than the OE Tesla xenon setup and fairly cheap if you find some damaged headlights. Nissan Qashqai 2014-2017 Full LED Passenger Side Left N/S Headlight P//: | eBay

    Help - supercharging evidence required

So I called them again today, a lot of backward and forward but got a really helpful guy who understood. He said that it was possible to have unlimited supercharging which didn’t transfer to the next owner in some cases if the free supercharging was from a referral code and not a paid option on...

    Help - supercharging evidence required

Hi Richard Is it possible to send me a screenshot privately of your VIN and the free unlimited supercharging statement together? I know it’s ridiculous but that’s what they have asked for. My email is [email protected] Many thanks Phil

    Help - supercharging evidence required

Hi Short story I need someone with a 60kw pack model S to screenshot their Tesla account showing they have free unlimited supercharging.... Long story I purchase my S60 in early April 2019, from a non Tesla dealer, it was sold with unlimited supercharging and I am the 2nd owner. When I looked...

Model S CCS upgrade done (UK)

Tested using the CCS adaptor on the IONITY 350kw chargers. Slower than a Tesla supercharger for some reason....

Mine is definitely fitted - here’s under the seat. The service tech was also surprised.

Dual charger upgrade price - software only

So after a month of back and forth I have finally received a quote to enable the dual chargers on my MS The car is a 2014 model S60, it physically has the dual charger fitted but not activated. The cost............ £1,700 OUCH!! Who is going to pay this on a 5yr old car, just to charge quicker...

Model S CCS upgrade done (UK)

apparently not, they had to enable it but using Tesla Toolbox (their OE diag kit) The tech said they used to be able to do it remotely but not anymore..

Model S CCS upgrade done (UK)

All done and fixed. Turns out that DC fast charging wasn’t enabled on my car - only supercharging. So I couldn’t have used a CHAdeMO adaptor or CCS adaptor. All working now, on a 50kw charger started at 36kw at 30%, looked like there was a limit of 116amps but the voltage steadily increased...

    AP1 ONLY Please -- life after 2018.50.6

On the latest update (2019.24.4) I have now noticed that my AP1 vehicle will not “undertake” a car in the other lane. That is it won’t pass a vehicle on the left hand side if it is travelling slower in the middle lane. It will still pass it on the right side, this is correct as in the UK passing...

Model S CCS upgrade done (UK)

I did it via the app, then they phoned to cancel as it wasn’t available. It was only when I went in to the SC looking at a Chademo adapter they said it was now ready (but didn’t contact me) It’s £425 inc vat all in They are coming on Wednesday to get it working as it’s now been 3 weeks since...

Confused about free supercharging on older models

I though that the 60’s didn’t get supercharging and the only option was to enable it (unlimited) for something like $3000-$4000 I didn’t think there was a “enable it but only 400kwh” at that point in time. I have contacted Tesla about it but in general their customer service is useless!! still...

Confused about free supercharging on older models

Hi I have a December 2014 model S (AP1) with free supercharging. I was under the impression that at this age that it was unlimited. I’m confused why I’m seeing countdown kWh’s in my account, any ideas? I though that only cars purchased after 2017 had the limited 400kwh supercharging free...

Model S CCS upgrade done (UK)

the update arrived about 2 hours before they did. They installed the upgraded hardware and supplied the physical CCS to type 2 adaptor and updated the vehicle. Clearly something is not right :-( I am impress by the size difference between the CCS and the CHAdeMO adaptor.

Model S CCS upgrade done (UK)

So today I had the CCS adapter upgrade fitted to my 2014 Model S AP1. Unfortunately it didn’t go well, the job went perfectly but then this happened when I tried to charge using CCS :-( Not good..... Supercharging still works, I even tried the adaptor at a dual CCS / type 2 supercharging...

    Tesla CCS adaptor

Hi all I booked my 2014 MS60 (AP1) in at the local service centre to have the new upgrade and supplied CCS to type 2 adaptor. I had a message today to say it wasn’t actually available in the UK yet. I pointed them in the direction of the website which says 1st June and that had them stumped...
