The "first to connect gets priority" for V2 was true initially but nowadays it seems to me that both cars get half of the capacity no matter who arrives first. I have observed this fair sharing on V2 many times in the last few months.

I don't think the drift in TSLA random walk is exponential, probably just linear with respect to time. I wish it were exponential though!

I can confirm that I was able to charge at this SC over the weekend, 16 stalls in total. I used one of the new 8 stalls which are V3, I wasn't able to check either whether the older 8 stalls are still on V2 or upgraded to V3.

In May of 2020 the OP on this forum predicted a bad upcoming Q2 2020 quarter for Tesla because the company "is bleeding money". So you may be right that he might have missed out on the huge appreciation that was about to happen.

I also think it was the right decision but I hope that Tesla does not become complacent and fat from this supply-induced higher margin situation. If they become fat they won't be able to slash prices when the time comes
