To those that ask why I carry… I have fire extinguishers and first aid kits in my house and car. I don’t expect to ever need them and yes I can call 911 if a fire breaks out or I need medical assistance. But they will be far away when a situation arises whereas the tools I’ve made available to...
I changed out my lock to the new 4 dial knob and removed the handle. The new dial is different than most I’ve seen. It free spins even when the correct pin is entered unless you push the button in.
Are these incremental improvements going to be relevant since 11 is going to be a complete rewrite? Should we keep reporting errors or just wait till 11?
How does it hold to the inside of the tire? Does it slot into the treads somehow? I’m afraid of it slipping off as the car goes through the windy mountain roads.
Seems like if one wanted to replicate the above scenario it shouldn't be too hard. Get a friend in a second car to drive toward you on a narrow road then have him swerve into your lane and see if the Tesla on FSD stops and backs up.
Sometimes when you stab the accelerator assertively and immediately let off the car rolls back a little. I can duplicate it at a red light or drive through easily.
The cases involving AP/FSD plowing into parked cruisers have more merit in my mind as you would expect the car to detect an object in the travel path and either stop or maneuver into a different lane.
And yes, I realize the driver is always responsible but I think back to all the times my car...
I feel gripping it at the lock assisted by the spring load is more than enough. I did think about putting a cable through the gap but I was afraid the constant movement might be enough to cut through the insulation over time. If you're looking to run a wire I would cut a small notch and put a...
I might cut off the handle as it seems to be an area where a thief can use for leverage with a pry bar. I’m also torn between which storage area is now more safe for my firearm (bigger sub trunk or vault).
With the presence of the vault it might be a good decoy and direct attention away from...
I will use it for when I go to the gym or if I’m going into a prohibited area like post office or government building. Other than that it stays appendix. Although I may start carrying it in a crossbody sling instead of leaving it when I go the gym.
Lock and decal plate were both installed upside down. I pried the plate off and remove and installed the lock to the correct orientation. Strange oversight on their behalf.
Yes they can fix it. The ones in the garage are before. The ones with the wet car are after. Double check the hinges before you leave though because mine were in bad shape.
Dashcam footage doesn’t do these events justice because I have my foot on the gas for these type of events so you won’t see much and I’m not inclined to see how slow my car will go just to satisfy anyone.
Wow, people are so touchy. In my opinion the MYP is not on par with BMW or Porsche SUV. The suspension of this car is not as well developed compared to their German counterparts in my opinion. These are my opinions, you're welcome to yours.
It’s ok. BMW and Porsche SUV’s are better. I guess on par with Mercedes SUV. Those cars are planted and you feel like you’re a part of the car. It’s hard to explain but I just don’t get the same feeling in the Tesla. It feels like I’m sitting on the car rather than a part of it.
I’m happy with...
MYP handles ok. Horrible when compared to a proper sports car in corners and fast transitions though. First clover leaf freeway interchange and you’ll notice the difference between your 911 and the MYP. It’s a classic American muscle car. Fast in the straight line but not really suited for corners.
There are locations where you cannot carry your firearm. OP is asking for a secured option inside the vehicle in which he can store his firearm temporarily for those situations. Ideally the storage would be one that can be accessed while seated in the front seat so you can disarm and store...
I don’t know if FSD factors in if you trade to Tesla. Maybe I’ll would have ended up eating the full cost at the end of year two.
But in my case I didn’t buy FSD at time of purchase so my option is 10k or subscription so I can’t retroactively add it to my loan.
$200 per month vs $10,000 outright currently. So it would take 4 years and 2 months of subscription before you hit $10,000.
But it’s more complicated than that because I could pay monthly and invest the money in something else for a decent return in which case that subscription prices seems...
In the US we typically don’t see .25 interest rate. But also… how long is your car loan if you only pay $50 with interest a month for FSD when rolled into your loan? Current price is $10k.
But either way it’s just a different way to buy a product. Similar to getting a cell phone. Some pay...
