I promise the day that you get your MXP, you won't be thinking about the headlights, matrix or not. The thing is unbelievable!!

I had the matrix lights on my MYP and have now owned a MXP for almost a month. The MXP lights are great so I def wouldn't hold off just for some matrix lights that may never come.

If you can find someone that will do the whole car for $1K, i wouldn't hesitate. It is really difficult to do the front window in one piece due to the large size. Most places are going to charge you extra for that or try and cut corners and do the front in 2 pieces.

XPEL Prime XR plus tint is all you need. Find a good place that will install it in one single piece for the entire windshield. Will probably run you close to $1K but worth every penny.

No center horn on the yoke yet is correct. Hopefully a software update changes that at some point

Lack of Tilt screen should not be a reason to reject the car. It honestly isn't even a big deal. I have it on my MXP and really could care less that it tilts. To each their own i suppose.....

3D Maxpider is the way to go whenever they decide to make them for the new X.

@Yosry I had the 3D Maxpider for my MYP and loved them. They are not showing available for my 2022 MXP. What year/model do you have?

I liked the cream interior except for the cream on the dash. In person the seats look great but something about an off white/cream dash turned me off. Switched to white because of that. I had white in my MYP and loved it.

The X is noticeably higher than the S. I am 6'2" and the X is awesome as you are sitting so much higher. I'd check out Vrbo in your area and see if you can rent a refreshed X for the day and really get a feel for the difference and if it is worth it to you.

I think they mean to wrap the cars prior to shipping to avoid damage in transport.

Carvana offered me $14K more than Tesla did. Tesla definitely is lowballing.

I've never used the glovebox button on my MYP. I always just hit the voice command button and say "open glovebox" and its done. Much easier than searching for a stupid button buried in the screen somewhere, haha!

Correct description. I have the matrix headlights in my MYP. It's very obvious the difference. I dont have a picture to share but you should see plenty of pictures of them on this forum in the 3 and Y sections.

Does this mean that we can keep our mobile charger when we trade in our Tesla for a new one?

The matrix lights appear more squared in the above pictures close against a garage but they dont appear like that when you are actually driving. They really provide a much wider coverage in both directions. I sometimes even have people flashing me thinking my high beams are on.

Plenty of comparisons on Youtube if you look at the old version and matrix of the Model Y. I currently have a MYP with the matrix lights and they are definitely much better than the standard lights. My EDD is not until October so i am hoping my MXP will have them by then.

Matrix headlights, never heard of them? haha! Can't wait for the next upgrade that we all talk about for 1000 pages. So far, the matrix headlights are not included and there has been no confirmation of an actual date when we will begin seeing them, just rumors.

We are all waiting for our orders to be filled and Tesla knew they wanted a car and gave it to them before they even ordered it. Now thats customer service!! ;-)
