    AAA membership?

AAA in SoCal has made it clear that (1) they won't tow Teslas - see Ryan Shaw's excellent YouTube channel where he discusses this in detail), and when I needed them, they (2) won't extricate a Tesla in soft dirt. We followed Tesla's navi to take a local road to a State Hwy, and the road became...

    Quality difference between a 2018 and 2021 Model 3

Sorry- I LIKE the chrome - it looks a bit more deluxe - the black reminds me of the el-cheapo GM cars back in the day- just a cost-saving move and frankly doesn't make the car look like the entry-level luxe car that it really is.

    HVAC Cooling Performance Degraded

Agreed- this problem has really manifested itself when I downloaded 2022.12.3.2. Very frustrating - the outside temp is "never" the same as inside the car (and where i live inside the car is always warmer - Long Beach CA). It was 21C/70F outside yesterday; the inside of the car was hot as...

    AP/phantom braking.

I've had a 2018 Model 3 with EAP, and believe me- when the radar was turned off the PB incidents increased exponentially - it is most definitely NOT safe (sorry Elon; this is an issue Tesla's going to be sued over when less experienced drivers overreact to these PB events). Frankly, I love the...

Audio drops out and audible clicking sound

I have the same problem - when enjoying music (at an elevated volume), the audio will often drop for seconds at a time - then will turn back on (as if I'd only turned the volume to 0 and then back again quickly). Is it an overheating amp? Has anyone been able to get to the bottom of this issue...

    Quiet Tire replacement recommendation

This guy in Long Beach went metric decades ago. And Tesla's are designed in metric from what I can see too - Elon knows a good measurement system, as does 97% of the world's population.

    Goodyear Assurance MaxLife tires

I've got 10,000 km on the Nokian One tires thus far, and am quite impressed. Wear is almost non-existent, and wet weather traction is superior (it doesn't rain much where I live, but when it does? Hydroplane-CITY normally!). Highly recommended to this point. I've got the 18" tires.

    Goodyear Assurance MaxLife tires

I didn't go with them - I put on the Nokian One tires- they've got a 80,000 mile warranty - are VERY quiet - and are operating with an average of 153 wh/km - 20% better than the Continental DSW-06 I had previously.

    Quiet Tire replacement recommendation

Hi - I see they rated the Continental Pure Contact LS higher than the Nokian One - but my Conti's were not the Pure Contact LS.

    Model 3 front suspension clunking

With 127,000km on the car, hubby and I took a road trip to Julian, California the other day, and noticed a squeak - very loud and noticeable - coming from the right front of the car. A quick check on the 'net, and we found this discussion. I submitted a repair request via the app, and - I...

    Quiet Tire replacement recommendation

I recently installed Nokian One tires - with 1,000km on them, I can state the following: 1 - they are QUIET. Very much appreciated. 2 - they have low rolling resistance - my range has already improved. I was averaging 183 wh/km with my Continental DSW 06 tires; now it's at 155 wh/km since...

12 simple software updates Tesla could make to improve interface. How many do you want?

I'd simply enjoy a means of changing font sizes, being able to drag/drop items, or choosing between a simple, modern, or "all the info that's fit to give" view! In addition- I really WANT SiriusXM. Elon, I'm sorry - but streaming satellite radio using my phone's data plan simply does not work in...
