A noob read of the situation - Index buyers put in their buy MOC orders. Front runners put in their sell orders. When NSDQ updated the imbalance at 1557 - we were at 655. seeing the imbalance auction was initiated - this lifted closing indicative price to 704 as you can see. More sellers...

Wait, isnt this contradicting - being weighted by float and market price intrinsically means share count is a function of those two. For example the change in AAPL holding by SPY keeps changing when the share price changes, which in turn changes the weighting in S&P500 Whereas look at GOOGL...

Given TSLA's size, S&P also have to reconstitute the S&P50 and S&P100. Not sure if reconstitution of those indexes are also done on a quarterly basis, but if yes - it could be a company from the top 100, not the likes of OXY.
