Bought FSD during a fire sale on our 2017 Model X. I would probably do the same on my refresh S if that actually happens.

My late(er) night FSD issues are camera based but show up as “one or more side cameras occluded”. Lots of pics and time stamps sent to my service center and nothing back yet. Not a “one time” occurrence as well as my car was pristinely clean.

My car, 2021 Model S refresh with FSD Beta totally demolished an opossum Saturday night. Didn’t even begin to acknowledge it. Thank god it didn’t destroy my bumper cover and just decapitated it.

Ditto to two posts above. 2021 LR Model S. After every car wash PRISTINELY clean car and windshield and dry….my car does an extended windshield cleaning cycle and literally runs the cycle 2-3 times and usually at the fist stop light 🤯🤬

You can also see the difference of how just TACC looks / works vs FSD Beta on side streets / city streets. It still looks to use the old code as well.

You have just described the situation that as of 2 weeks ago I have just started doing ALL the driving myself when my wife and or kids are in the car with me. They absolutely hate being passengers when I used FSD Beta

Another super short ~20 minute install as well.. Oddly enough I had to re-enable FSD Beta and Automatic Lane change. Haven't had those toggles reset in the last several updates.

The video said "State Farm Insurance". If that's true and their on going policy of how to handle FSD I could not be happier I dropped them many years ago. Our Travelers even covers our PPF much less FSD and any other add ons. Definitely a call to your state Insurance Commissioner sounds...

Just literal thousands of miles driven on it is all the proof I need. Anecdotal is the placebo affect. People really do see what they want to see not the reality. Especially if they are relying on what they “read” and not what they experience.
