    12V Access: Model S 2021 Refresh

OK, so this may not be the best power source for the AL Priority. Does anyone know of a switched power source in the Frunk area?

    12V Access: Model S 2021 Refresh

I found this yesterday and temporarily tapped if by folding the + wire over the top and pushing the cap back on it. It is perfect for my AL Priority system.

    Trailer hitch on 2021 refresh?

As for the trailer lights, I find it hard to believe that there is no OBDII port wireless light modules anywhere on the market. It seams easy enough to make a module that plugs into the OBDII port and sends the appropriate signals to a battery powered module that could plug into a standard...

Model S Refresh: Relatively fatiguing when actually driving long distances?

So you are saying you like the rigid, fake plastic feel of the yoke? Maybe I'm just spoiled coming from other high-end cars with nice leather touchpoints, but "comfy" is not a word I personally would ever associate with the Yoke. But I'm probably doing something wrong...

Model S Refresh: Relatively fatiguing when actually driving long distances?

I have had 3 Model S's and can tell you my 2022 is by far the most comfortable for long road trips, all except for the Yoke. The seats are more comfortable, the ride is better, the cabin is quieter but the Yoke is just made out of some hard substance that is not comfortable to hold on to...

Wider Model S stance and improved aggressive appearance with wheel spacers

I think you are still in the pre-2021 Model S, right? The new palladium has a totally different suspension/fender well setup and allows for much wider wheels and tires with a much more aggressive offset.

Auto braking by it’s self when nothing is around.

I had a 2020 LR+ with Radar and had Phantom Braking issues all the time. Now I have a 2022 (March Build) with no Radar and it does it just as much. Oddly enough, it hits the brakes very hard on HWY 395 with no-one around, straight road, no trees, obstacles and not heading into the sunlight and...

Tesla Quietly Removes Wood Trim Interior Option for MS Plaid

I did the swap from Wood to Carbon in my 2022 MSLR. All the doors and rear cupholder are held in place by clips, very easy to swap. The front dash trim requires removing the display (not that hard to do) and the center console trim requires removing the console from the car and disassembling...

S/X Palladium Motorized Screen Tilt Kit

Great. So you come here and tell people that the mechanisms are not there and it depends on build date with nothing to back up the information you are spreading...that is super helpful. I can say definitively that my early March build has the mechanism, just no motors. That is a...

AL Priority & Net Radar Laser Install on Plaid or LR?

Thanks! I saw your post in that thread, so thank you for the added details. I plan to contain my entire system in the frunk, so I was wondering if you tapped power up there, or from a source in the cabin. The reason I am not going to need to run anything into the cabin is because I plan to...

AL Priority & Net Radar Laser Install on Plaid or LR?

@KevinY I saw in another thread that you installed an ALP in your new MS. Did you mount a NetRadar also? If so, where did you mount it and how did you run the power from the Wireless charger to the control unit. Any pics of the install would be helpful too!

AL Priority & Net Radar Laser Install on Plaid or LR?

Has anyone installed an AL Priority system in the new Palladium Model S? I had this on my last two Model S's and am planning an install on my 2022 long range. I am just curious if the wiring will be any different in the new platform and would love to hear from anyone who has already done it.

Handling S Long Range v Plaid

Im sorry, but I have to call BS on this. Nobody "consistently" gets full rated range from a Tesla. So to clarify, are you saying that when you charge your car to 100% it shows you have 388-390 miles (and @80% 310-315)? Or are trying to tell us you actually get, during real world driving...

2022 Refreshed Model S / Plaid - Cup holder too small?

That really does not make any sense to me. Did the person who posted this try to pry it out and potentially cause that "damage"? Because that rubber lip is very thin and I don't find it conceivable that pulling it out could cause damage to the underlying cupholder. On a side note, i have a...

2022 Refreshed Model S / Plaid - Cup holder too small?

I pulled my center console apart to swap the wood for carbon. I can confirm there is nothing holding the rubber insert in place, other than the top rim of the cupholder. You can simply rip it out. (Please note that you will not be able to put it back in without taking the whole center console...

Updated Windshield Washers on 2022 Model S?

Today was the first day I needed to use the windshield washers and was delighted to see they no longer shoot streams from down near the hood at the glass, they now are integrated into the wiper arm and spray directly in front of the wiper blade. My 2013 and 2020 both used the older method, when...

Thanks for the compliment, i am very happy with it! No rubbing at all, in any situation. As for 295/30 it might work, but I'm concerned about keeping it closer to OE diameter and I'm not sure what that extra Rev Per Mile will do to the driving dynamics. I'm curious to hear from others on...

Yes, that is all one piece. If the service center broke yours, you should have them replace it. But worst case scenario, I think it's only about $100-$150 bucks and very easy to replace (So easy, that I am shocked the service center broke yours).

    Putting 2022 19" wheels/tires on 2017 Model S?

Every reply here missed the original question. OP wants to know if the new (2021+) Tempest wheels will work on the older Model S (2013-2021 pre-Paladium). The offsets are different and will push the wheels further out toward the fender. In my opinion, they should fit but I cannot validate...

Early '22 Exterior Refresh Tracking (Lights, Charging Door, Appliqué delete)

Makes sense, I have never had to get very close to the car for the wand button to open the charge port door. I usually works from several feet away.

Early '22 Exterior Refresh Tracking (Lights, Charging Door, Appliqué delete)

I'm not sure that had ever been a thing. If is is, then I learned something today. What will work for sure is to hold the charging wand connecter from your wall charger or a supercharger near the charge port door and push the little button on the charging wand, that will open the door.

    Changing display position

You can also press and drag from one position to another. There is a little bar at the top, the same one you use to pull up/down to make the window larger/ smaller. Hold on that and drag it where you want it.

    Trailer hitch on 2021 refresh?

I have some even better news. I just picked up an earlier version of the Model X hitch and it does not even have that bracket for the wiring harness, which you had to bend. So mine should be an easy install!

    Continental ExtremeContact DWS06

+1 on the Conti DWS06. Best tire I have ever owned for all season driving. Performance of Refreshed MSLR vs. others

I am just not sure why you would call him out on the P100D when he very specifically asked for a comparison on the Raven Performance vs Refreshed LR? It probably would have been better to let him know they dropped the Lettering/Numbering all together. Anyway, I think we are all clear now.

Performance of Refreshed MSLR vs. others

Since you were the one to pick at this one, I will jump in and say that Tesla never made a P100D Raven. The Raven was either Performance or Long Range, they dropped the lettering/numbering all together because all Model S's were 100 (The 100 in P100D) kwH and all had dual motors (The D in...

    Refreshed S Jack Pads
