got a call from Tesla— they said they ran remote diagnostics and that something was pinging my car causing the drain. It’s odd as I don’t have any 3rd party apps connected to the car. He suggested changing my password, which I did (on the website). Will continue to monitor.

Thanks for this. The local utility has an incentive/rebate for the hardware and installation so it would be nice to have -- assuming it works. My prior house, I just used a 14-50 with the mobile connector and didn't have any problems.

I'm looking at buying a wall charger, but given this thread a bit nervous about it not working well. If it's only four screws to take out and replace, fine, but if I have to pay for multiple installs well that's a deal-breaker. Is this really better than at 14-50 outlet? (aside from aesthetics)

That sounds horrible— driving without my drivers side view mirror to use is dangerous.

I currently have this problem and tried rebooting to no avail. It’s only for the drivers side and it’s basically unresponsive. It’s currently with service and they can’t figure it out yet.

I had this issue last April, and they replaced it under warranty. Now, the replacement headrest is starting to show similar issues... go figure. will see what they say next month during service.

Have you tried this overnight as well? I’ve noticed that I was losing 2-3% while parked at work (no overheat or sentry on), but I left it unplugged at night and this didn’t happen. No idea what’s going on, except that it was particularly hot during the work days.

I got the update and seems like there is some vampire drain with this update. My car went down by 3% while I was at work (it’s been on the warmer side so I don’t know if there is something else going on).

On my screen under “software”, it says “software downloading” but the progress bar has only moved ~5% and has been that way for at least a week. Not sure why it’s stuck there.
