    TPMS valve stem broken

I just had my winter tires put back on and was trying to top up the air and sheared the valve stem due to corrosion (will never use metal caps again...lesson learned). It broke off below the threads for the valve itself so all the air came out, tire is now completely flat. What's the fix here...

    LTE signal - Caldeon Area

Anyone else notice a huge change in the Tesla cell service between Toronto and Caledon/Orangeville area? Over the past couple months it has been switching between LTE, 3G and Edge giving us spotty Slacker service. Anyone else notice or is it unique to my Model S. I just want to avoid an...

Facelift? I’m guessing yes based on your avatar.

    Replika R187 wheels causing issues..

I just had 187s with Pirelli Sottozeros installed on a 2016 facelift last Friday and I thought it felt like rubbing/friction when I left the grocery store on Sunday. I’ll have to check again. Worth noting I’m not using OEM nuts. They are the black ones PMC sold me. I’m interested to hear if...

Winter is Coming - when do you install your winter tires?

GoTire just came to my house and swapped my Slipstreams for Replika 187s. For $140.00 they mounted the Pirelli Sottozero (came w/ my car and are practically brand new so couldn't justify buying the Nokians) on the Replika 187s, balanced them and swapped them onto the car. Pretty good value...

    Supercharger - Etobicoke ON

If I had to guess based on other locations we've seen lately I'd expect to see it around Sherway Gardens. Makes sense with the 427, QEW and Gardiner. Maybe off North Queen where Sail etc is?

    Cold Weather Driving

What was the verdict on these in Toronto. I also have a D with these scheduled for install this week. Should also mention I already own these tires but this would be my first winter with the car.

    2016 60D used from non-Tesla dealer

Picked it up last week. Here it is, thanks all. Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

    2016 60D used from non-Tesla dealer

The dealer has offered to have Tesla inspect it so long as I put a deposit down committing to the vehicle pending a favourable inspection.

    2016 60D used from non-Tesla dealer

Ya, seems like a good deal. Going to try calling Tesla to make sure the history is clear. Agreed, CPO values seem inflated in Ontario though with the change to the EV rebate.

    2016 60D used from non-Tesla dealer

What kind of items should I look for that wouldn't be obvious?

    2016 60D used from non-Tesla dealer

I thought so when comparing to CPOs. Autopilot not being activated needs to be factored in.

Also forgot to mention it's a new nose cone.

    Correct. Canadian dollars.

    2016 60D used from non-Tesla dealer

I have checked it out in person. It's in great shape, no damage. AP1 is not enabled, only upgrades that were done were the paint and leather seats. Supercharging is enabled. The original order confirmation shows the purchase price as $98500 before taxes.

    2016 60D used from non-Tesla dealer

Hi all, I posted something similar to this before but I didn't have the pricing information at that time. I just put a deposit down on a Model S 60D from a non-Tesla dealer. It has AP1 Hardware w/ standard options and ~5000kms. Being offered to be for 76k, this prices seems great when...

    2016 Model S - used from a dealer

Hi all, I typically see people shy away from buying from a dealer. I've recently come across a well priced Model S 60D at a dealership I have dealt with in the past. ~5000km on it. Are low mileage cars from dealers also frowned upon by the TMC community? Thanks

    Rough Cost Comparision - S 60D

The Subaru was the only vehicle of the three we looked that that came out to be a lower total cost per month. They also have great financing offers at the moment.

    Rough Cost Comparision - S 60D

I considered that but didn't want to speculate. I figure the value of an ICE with that many kilometres would be very low. Unsure with the Tesla. I found pricing for the Subara 10k and 20k kilometre maintainence increments in the GTA and assumed tow of each per year. The Volkswagen one is based...

    Rough Cost Comparision - S 60D

After seeing a few CPO vs. Inventory calculators (Tesla New vs. CPO; thanks to carter_seattle) and other rough calculations I put some rough numbers to some of the other vehicles we had considered prior to the Tesla. By no means do I think it's any kind of cost savings but it seems to narrow...

    Specific CPO vs Inventory

Thanks for the info. 150km daily commute wouldn't be an issue then? P85 with 100km+ left would make me wonder what I would have left with only 60.

    Specific CPO vs Inventory

Hi all, looking at either of these two option. 60D would meet our needs in terms of range. Our daily commute is ~150km round trip Ontario Canada (cold weather climate). Inventory Model S; Model S 60D 5YJSA1E29GF154434 | Tesla Canada CPO Model S; Model S 70D 5YJSA1E23FF115238 | Tesla...
