My buddy throws up 3 out of 5 times he drives with me. Says its something about the Regen that makes him sick. He keeps throwing up because I don't drive like a grandma.

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

I see your inovice, I got the same exact parts. I'm wondering if there is not also some adjustments on the motor mounts that they are not documenting. So far two of us have it solved. But yes, of course I will keep updated if it returns.

Model S Plaid heating system sucks!!!

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

I'll see if I can get it, I just saw it on their screen.
  23. cytranic

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

Tell them to lookup the engineering bulletin. Its a well-documented issue. Force them. Tell them you will continue to put in service requests until someone feels the vibration. Take the service manager for a ride.
  24. cytranic

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

Solved for me, only 200 miles so far on them..

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

New axels are made for plaid. They are fixing the issue. Schedule a service appointment until they fix it with the correct axels.
  28. cytranic

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

Tesla is lurking this Thread. Apparently, there is a new Plaid half shaft that is fixing the issue. They installed the old S & X shafts in these cars and they had issues. Buddy of mine got his replaced and fixed the issue. I have an appointment scheduled.
  29. cytranic

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

I've always thought it could be solved with a firmware update. It always felt like a throttle curve issue around this range where the front motor is either pulling, or not pulling at the same speed as the rear.
  30. cytranic

    Random music playing in Plaid.

Mine ended up being the browser window playing on tiktok..lol...Open your browser

Vibration is still there, does seem to be slightly better but I think its in my mind.
  33. cytranic

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

If you have 19's it definitely gets to a point where its barely noticeable. For those of us who know what to look for, we can still feel it on Same, I noticed the same thing. The vibration is almost gone on this new firmware. I'll see if it continues. But so far I'm blaming the cold weather.
  34. cytranic

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

Bad batch of plaids shipped to Florida! No really, seems like everyone has it. So we got that going for us.

Are YouTubers only posting successful FSD experiences?

Youtubers definitely hype it way more than they should. Its pretty horrible. And by horrible I mean swearing into oncoming traffic almost every day on a straight line road with GPS telling it to go straight.

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

I have a feeling mine is coming through the piller. I'll try taping all the way down on the door to see if that solves. I'm also not entirely convinced its wind noise. I think it could be harmonics from tires or motor.
  41. cytranic

2021 Model S Doesn't Shut off When parked

Yeah we all have it. Seems if I open the back passenger door and close it again it shuts off....sometimes. Othertimes I have to open the app and lock the doors.
  42. cytranic

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

Mine was really bad over the weekend. Wife even noticed and asked if something was wrong with car.
  43. cytranic

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

NIce let me know if the tape helps. Could be the seal needs to be a bit stronger in the back.....If I had to choose I would definitely pick getting rid of the noise at 75+. Its super annoying
  44. cytranic

    Software update

Same, no updates since FSD BUtton

New FSD Beta Button for 2021 Refreshed Plaid and Long Range

Really my only insight is knowing one of those 21 cars and they get direct responses from Tesla on why its delayed. So far we know its a different stack. Meaning FSD has to be ported over. This means they need to divert resources from current FSD team to what I'm calling HW3.5 stack on the new...
