How long to wait for FSD beta?

I’ve had my safety score at 95 for around 2.5 months now but still no FSD beta. How long did it take others?

WTB: OEM model 3 trunk struts

Got the aftermarkets ones that automatically lift the trunk, but they make the trunk harder to close which my wife hates. Looking to go back to the OEM ones which I no longer have. Pls let me know if willing to sell.

Beware of RPMTesla Performance Calipers (and service)

Ordered a month ago and they arrived fine, but they do not fit as shown in the instructional video. The bracket does not clip around the existing caliper and sit securely which results in almost no clearance between the caliper cover and rotor. Emailed three times with no response from them, so...

Suspension noise in cold weather over speed bumps (with video)

I am getting a creaking sound going over speed bumps in cold weather only. Happened last winter and again this winter. Set up a service appt, but am concerned that if it's not cold that day, I won't be able to reproduce. I have uploaded two videos, can anyone help diagnose so I can go to SC...

Can someone help me understand how my battery is possibly 75 kWh?

I have a LR RWD and stated mileage capacity of 312 miles on a full charge. I keep the battery indicator on percentage mode normally. BUT, no matter how many times I divide my kWh used by battery percentage used, I get somewhere between 63-68 kWh. I have even charged to 90% and discharged to 10%...

Tracking a LR RWD (disable traction)

Is there any way to disable traction and stability control on a LR RWD? I really want to be able to track the car, but I don't want to upgrade to a performance model just to do that. I know there was a dyno mode you could exploit that would disable all nannies, but a few months ago it was...

WTB: Black on Black LR AWD, Stealth, or Performance

Ideally <30k miles. Don't care about wheels/tires as I'll be changing them. Needs: Black on Black Premium Interior No accident history Want: EAP or FSD For reference, I have a black on black LR RWD with FSD at the moment that I paid $43,500 for (2 years used) in Dec 2019.

    Link between Wh/mi and temperature

I have been trying to figure out the link between range and temperature. Obviously the range is decreased with extreme cold. However, is this reflected in decreased total capacity, or is it reflected in higher Wh/mi? In other words, do I expect to see higher consumption per trip reflected in the...

    Vibration with aftermarket wheels

Is anyone experiencing a slight vibration with their aftermarket wheels? I just got the EVT turbines in 19” and Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack tires. I get a very slight vibration at highway speeds, it’s not buttery smooth like it was on the factory 18s. Any ideas? Road force balancing? On car...

FS: Set of 4 18" Model 3 Aero Wheels & Tires

Tires are the original Michelin MXM4 with foam inside. All are in great shape. Three wheels have some curb rash, one of which is really minor. If you care, I can have them repaired locally for $75 per wheel - I have used the guy before and he does great work. Comes with the 18" wheels and aero...

What are the QUIETEST 19” tires for aftermarket wheels?

I bought a set of 19” wheels from EVwheeldirect and I can’t seem to find any place that sells the standard foam lined 19” tires that Tesla uses. What tires are people using? I’m in Atlanta so not worried about snow. Ride quality and noise is most important. I know Michelin Pilot Sport 4s is...

Has anyone swapped their Gen1 --> Gen2 driver seat?

I've seen some people swapping the rear seat bottom cushion pretty easily, but has anyone swapped their driver seat? Did you replace the whole seat or just the cushions? There are some gen2 cushions on eBay that are in good shape and pretty tempting. But I can't find any video instructions or...

    Map 3D view

I’ve been digging through threads trying to find info on a 3D map view. Mine just looks like an overhead view looking straight down, even while navigating. I’ve cycled the options in the top right and it switches between north up, car up, and route overview. But I can’t seem to get it to switch...

Model 3 order Up for grabs - ordered 10/31, delivery before year end, save $3400

I ordered on 10/31 before the $1500 price hike on 11/1. Car should be delivered well before the new year and you can avail the $1875 tax credit as well. I contacted Tesla and it seems like you can do a transfer of order. I ended up buying a pre-owned instead a couple of days ago. Specs: Long...

Post pics of your black model 3 with aftermarket wheels or spoiler!

Just picked up a pre-owned black on black LR RWD with aero wheels. Definitely want to swap them to either the 19” sport wheels or something else more interesting. Also considering the RPM or IKON spoiler. Post pics of your ride to help me decide!

    Transferring a Model 3 order?

Wasn't sure what section this should go in, but I ordered a model 3 LR AWD with FSD, white on black, and with sport wheels on 10/31 just before the $1,500 price jump. The total is $55,490. It should also be delivered before the new year meaning the $1875 tax credit can be used. I have decided...

Model 3 pre-owned checklist and pricing

I am considering a LR RWD Model 3 with 22k miles, premium interior, aero wheels, and EAP with FSD for around $43,500. Build date is Jan 2018 so it has the newer suspension (but I know there have been several damper revisions since then). I have to fly somewhere to see it and then drive it back...

Model 3 changes from Jan 2018 til now; buying new vs. pre-owned Jan 2018

I am considering a pre-owned model 3 from Jan 2018 as compared to a new one. Compared to a new LR AWD, I would save around $7,500 on a 2018 pre-owned, 22k miles, black on black, premium interior and FSD. The end of the vin/serial is 03888. I drive only around 6,000 miles per year so not too...

WTB: Model 3 LR, either EAP or FSD, black/silver/white ext., black int.

Ok with anything under 20k miles. Minimum of EAP (if 2018) +/- FSD depending on year and price. Located in Atlanta but willing to drive within a few hundred miles. Serious buyer, looking in the next week or two. Exterior: Black, Silver, or White Interior: Black Long range RWD or AWD is fine...

Can someone please help me decipher this 2018 Model 3

I am looking at a pre-owned 2018 Model 3 LR RWD. There have been so many changes to the lineup it's hard for me to keep track. The owner said he purchased AP and FSD, but I'm not sure how to verify this. He has sent pictures of the screen, but I don't see enhanced summon which I would have...
