    Wiring the Final Payment

Why would you use wire transfer? Take a cheque with you and be done with it.

Moving to USA from Canada in my Tesla Model 3... What do I need to cross the border?

Call or email Tesla and state you are moving to the US and need a letter of compliance stating your vehicle meets all US EPA & DOT standards. That’s all you really need to import it into the US. They will make you fill out the necessary forms once inside. Give customs a call as well just to be 100%.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Got my August ‘21 RWD black/white order last week. Picking up my Sep ‘21 RWD white/black order tomorrow. Both taxes in $52-53k each. If I was to order now, they would be $69-70k taxes in each. Could sell both for a $40,000ish profit right now. Absolutely insane.

What amperage do I set for dryer plug?

For now I will keep it at 15A and increase it the next time I charge it just to be safe. My dryer has been running on 30A for ages so I think I’m OK but I still want to be absolute certain that my house won’t burn down overnight, haha.

What amperage do I set for dryer plug?

Just the answer I was hoping to look for. Thanks, man. I’m going to keep it at 15A for tonight and slowly increase it when I charge it next just to be safe. Seems like the rates are cheapest in between 11PM and 7AM. Car should be charged by then. I am planning on moving by the end of this year...

What amperage do I set for dryer plug?

Hi everyone, I’m using the dryer plug to charge my Model 3 RWD now. Coming in at night, I usually have 30-40% battery left and it stays parked for 12 hours. The default amperage right now is at 24 which nets me 38 kilometres an hour. Would it be a good idea to manually decrease the amperage to...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

I made the mistake when I sold my last one. This one I will keep. Especially when they seem to be creeping up in value in Canada since all of them are being exported out of country. We barely have any inventory up here. Inflation has hit Canadians much worse when compared to the US.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

After my car has been sitting for a month waiting for the ECU and being rescheduled 4 times for delivery with the latest being in June, Tesla called me today to inform me my car is ready for pick up. WTF? Appointment is tomorrow. Fingers crossed there are no hiccups.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

This is false. I know several people who ordered base RWDs after me and they got their cars months sooner.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

You’re going to laugh but a C7 Z06. 650 horses and 30+ MPG on the highway. I’ve owned many sports cars including a Z before and it’s always a pleasure to drive. Spending a couple hundred on gas a month isn’t going to kill me.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Well folks, it’s happened.. Delivery dates: April 21 & 28th, May 13th, and now June 3rd. No ETA on missing ECU. Got my vin months ago. Car has been sitting there for god knows how long. I have decided to buy another vehicle as I’ve been waiting almost a year now while everyone around me...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Yes. I had a date for the 21st & 28th of April, and now May 12th. Delayed due to the charge port ECU. 2 of my friends who ordered their car after me picked theirs up 2 months ago without issue. One took delivery on Monday. Absolutely infuriating. Upgrading to a LR would have been $20,000 extra...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Is anyone else waiting for the damn charge port ECU or is it only me? A year of waiting and now 2 months of the car just sitting there. I will never touch a Tesla again after this experience.
