Reusing Boosters: Launch, Land, and Re-Launch

Done. $60 because they didn't have a $50 simple donation in the One Time section. I didn't know if the octopus would get along with my dogs so I didn't adopt one.... ;)

New Charity Bet: Date of first time Starship reaches orbit.

Love it! Let's focus on one or two at a time. Starship isn't getting to orbit until after Super Heavy is up and running. So how about a guess on that? A Super Heavy launch date. Will a Starship be stacked on it when it happens? Aargh. I expect so. So that day might be the same as the...

    SpaceX SN15 Experimental Test Vehicle

Agreed. Price was only a small part of the many reasons that SpaceX was chosen. The reality is that NASA stated their reasons for choosing SpaceX in detail publicly and plenty of other Youtubers have gone through that document and gone over the details. I would not have guessed they would...

    SpaceX SN15 Experimental Test Vehicle

Not really. I watched NSF and EA livestreams too. They hung in there longer to confirm there was no post landing boom but the visuals of the launch and landing were about the same. With SpaceX you got to see the Raptors in action at times.

The SpaceX video wasn't great but it looks like the test was successful. The small fire is now out and SN15 is detanking.

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink V1.0-L25 - LC-39A

I just noticed another major milestone about this launch for SpaceX. This is the 116th launch of a Falcon 9 booster. This is the 58th time SpaceX has launched using a reused booster. So todays successful launch makes 50% of all SpaceX launches happen with a reused booster. 100% of launches...

Yeah. I've got a second confirmation this will be B1051 from EA's website. That said, SpaceX has labelled this as the 27th Starlink mission internally. The 26th batch will launch after this one. Thread headline has been changed and updated with known information.

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink V1.0-L25 - LC-39A

The nomenclature is for what this launch will be. So this would be the -9 ninth launch for B1049. B1049 lost its lead from the delays with Starlink 17 and B1051 got the highlighted and quick turnaround launch for Starlink 16.
