List of locations with pull-through stalls

Madera has a pull through with tons of room for maneuvering with a trailer. Even though it’s not super crowded it will get ICEd occasionally

Supercharger - Tejon Ranch, CA - Outlets at Tejon Pkwy (LIVE 1 Sep 2021, 28/56 V3 stalls)

FWIW, at the same time I took this picture across the freeway Tejon Ranch V2 said 25 minute wait, Copus Rd. 10 minute wait, Enos Ln 5 minute wait, Bakersfield 10 minute wait, Buttonwillow 10 minute wait, Buttonwillow Raceway 5 minute wait, you get the idea.

Supercharger - Tejon Ranch, CA - Outlets at Tejon Pkwy (LIVE 1 Sep 2021, 28/56 V3 stalls)

Keeping an eye out to see if all the recent supercharger additions to the area are helping this weekend. Looks like they will need more additions for some time.

Supercharger - Sherman Oaks, CA (under construction May 2022, 40 V3 stalls)

    I don’t know then. Ride a bike once in a while. 10 miles ain’t that far 🤷🏻‍♂️

Supercharger - Sherman Oaks, CA (under construction May 2022, 40 V3 stalls)

If you’re there for 45 minutes and can get about 60 kWh during that time then the discount would have to be about 12.5 cents per kWh less than nearby chargers to be worth it.

Discussion: Tesla Energy / Auto Customer Service

So I’m thinking of pulling the lever on Tesla Solar but I hope to get some opinions or pros and cons of going with them. I just sold a house which had 20 panels and Enphase microinverters totaling 4.3 kW AC and 2 Powerwalls with whole home backup. The timeline of that install was as follows...

Looking for an independent Tesla service shop in the Bay Area. Does that exist?

Another vote for @TheDriveway . They did a fine job installing MPP rotors and changing my brake fluid on my Plaid for a reasonable price.

Supercharger - Milpitas, CA - S Abbott Ave (under construction, 12 V3 stalls)

Typical chain restaurant transformers are 50-150 kVA. For 12 V3s you need at least 1000 kVA dedicated transformer (not shared with another customer).
  12. T

Supercharger- Bakersfield, CA - 4200 California Ave (probable location found)

I don’t see any utility transformer near the pin. There’s a utility project dated 10-23-22 in progress for a transformer install in that parking lot so there’s a slight chance it may be something. On the other hand, the Bakersfield pins have been in flux for the last weeks with obvious errors so...

    Supercharger - Visalia, CA #2 (under construction May 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

you sure it’s not the one across the street that’s been active for a week or so? https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/supercharger-visalia-ca-valley-fuel-travel-center-live-15-oct-2022-19-v3-stalls.270135/

    Supercharger - Brea, CA - S. Madrona Ave. (LIVE 10 Oct 2022, 24 V3 + 24 L2 stalls)

It’s 23 cents all day now so sounds like they’re encouraging its use vs the very crowded ones.

You sir are a lot more optimistic than I am! Thank you.

"Refreshed" Model S model VIBRATION tracking and information thread!!!

Thank you for the suggestion. Are you suggesting this as a permanent fix or just pointing out how the vibration isn’t present when this setting is enabled?

"Refreshed" Model S model VIBRATION tracking and information thread!!!

July 2022 Plaid and I get a vibration on gentle acceleration. The vibration manifests itself as a rattle on the driver rear window. It does it somewhere between 10-40 MPH. It does not do it on hard acceleration, braking, regen, or constant speed. It only does it under gentle acceleration. It...

Now they’re showing it as live. I’m pretty sure that’s an error but I’ll confirm on Saturday.

They briefly posted the address on the Tesla website

This is the Denny's address. Briefly posted by Tesla and now scrubbed from site.

Supercharger- Bakersfield, CA - 4200 California Ave (probable location found)

It's showing 1Q 2023 and Tesla posted address by mistake. I managed to save the address before Tesla scrubbed it.

    Supercharger - Redding, CA (LIVE 11 Oct 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

I figured that was someone's fat fingered mistake. Saved everything as a PDF just in case they took it off. Sure enough: they corrected it.

    Supercharger - Santa Monica, CA (LIVE 18 Feb 2022, 62 V3 stalls)

I’m not able to physically check today but is anyone in the area able to check the status of the extension?
  25. T

Supercharger - Harris Ranch, CA - Expansion (under construction Apr 2022, 80 stalls)

TOSV posted a picture on Twitter showing 2 transformers installed and paving complete so that’s a good sign.
  26. T

Supercharger - Martinez, CA (LIVE Dec 2021, 16 V3 stalls)

Not to veer too much off topic but that Sacramento J St charger is basically the cheapest off peak rate in California. I won’t go in to the details but validation at that garage is way too effortless during business hours: you don’t even have to get a person involved to validate and park for free.

Battery 4 hour storage limit [Utility scale storage]

4 hours is just the standard for utility scale battery storage. There is nothing to prevent them from supplying less power at longer duration but grid load peaks are mostly planned for 4 hours. When utility scale storage is procured the 4 hours is the “nominal” duration the batteries will supply...

Supercharger - Emeryville, CA - Powell Street Plaza (LIVE 28 Mar 2020, 12 V3 stalls)

Usually this one’s pretty good even when full. Today: not good. Been seeing this speed since starting at 30 percent. Can’t change stalls since it’s full.
  30. T

Supercharger - Tustin, CA - Red Hill Ave. (LIVE 20 Sep 2022, 12 V3 stalls)

At first I was puzzled yesterday at why it was empty when I charged. Then it hit me that being day 1 not too many Teslas were being routed there. I think by now all the Tesla navs have updated and are routing everyone there.
  31. T

Supercharger - Tustin, CA - Red Hill Ave. (LIVE 20 Sep 2022, 12 V3 stalls)

Charging here now at 250 kW. No first day slow speeds or hiccups. 👍🏽 restrooms at 99 store closed but restrooms at Burger King are just fine.

  36. T

Supercharger - Kettleman City, CA - Bernard Dr. (LIVE, 56 V3 stalls)

Not sure why everyone is assuming rolling blackouts or “CA grid problems.” Other than small muni utilities, none of the investor owned utilities had CAISO- ordered rolling blackouts during those days. It could have been an overheated or overloaded transformer, a fault on the feeder, a car vs...

Supercharger - Santa Ana, CA - 5th St. garage (LIVE 20 Nov 2020, 20 urban stalls)

Pretty sure that was when there was a bunch of Bolts that had batteries spontaneously combusting and GM had yet to replace their bad batteries. No one wanted one of these randomly catching fire inside their garage.
  41. T

Supercharger - Burbank, CA - North Third Street (LIVE 14 Sep 2017, 20 V2 stalls)

This thing probably uses close to 1,000,000 kWh per month based on the assumption that for 20 hours out of the day this thing is full, which could be realistic. Just to clear up the confusion, this supercharger probably uses more than all superchargers in the state of Kentucky combined, NOT more...

Supercharger - Mojave, CA - 16870 CA Hwy 14 (Mojave Thai, permit filed, 20 V3 stalls)

Nothing wrong with it but I’m sure he figured why not make money instead of just doing it as a hobby. I wouldn’t mind following his Twitter account because it would be informative but that involves sorting through a lot of Elon-esque annoying political *sugar* which he posts and at least to me...
