    Bumper Repair - Leeds/Wakefield

Hi! So sorry to hear about your bad luck. At least the culprit has rightly offered to pay. I had the same thing happen to me somewhere but didn’t notice till I next washed the car. Unfortunately no footage was recorded for it by the time I’d noticed and checked through the video clips. I can’t...

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

As Drew57 said. It takes much longer to get a schedule now, as it’s a way of lowering battery drain due to not waking the car as often. Plug in as normal, then stop the charge via the Tesla app straight away. In around 30-45mins max look at the octopus app again and the IO schedule will be...

Intelligent Octopus problems for a month. No help !

I’ve had the same issue, and had to disconnect the car and reconnect as it wasn’t showing the io schedule and just immediately began charging at peak rate. Now I just connect, then stop charge immediately via the Tesla app. Then if I check the octopus app 30 mins or so later the charge schedule...

Model Y headlights different between LR and P in UK?

They have recently changed the law in the US to allow matrix headlights on their roads, so let’s keep our fingers crossed there’s an upcoming software update that enables the matrix operation for everyone. It would be a quick fix to solve the rubbish all on or off nature of the existing auto...

Cleaning Model 3 Performance Uberturbine Wheels & Interior

Just normal car shampoo on my Uberturbines. You rarely use the brakes, so the wheels and even calliper’s stay pretty clean, just blast off with the pressure washer.

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

It happened to me a couple of days ago. I just swiped the app away then went into it again, so it reloaded. All sorted straight after doing that.

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

I know the feeling! With the missus and 3 daughters, you can imagine the usage from hairdryers, straighteners, TV’s, all lights on constantly, including the heating! If the police helicopter flew over our house, they’d think there was a cannabis grow on the thermal camera with the amount of heat...

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

Looks like it’s heading for the bin then! Lol. Is there any way to get usage in pounds and pence per hour/day on the octopus app, instead of just kwh’s? On the SSE app you can get a figure for every half an hour, and the days total. (I’ve got the smart meter readings recorded every 30mins.) I’ve...
  12. T

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

Yes I wouldn’t mind at all if I could just manually input the peak and off peak hour rates so it represented the I.O figures, but there’s no option at all to set figures yourself in the settings (as far as I’m aware?)

Does AP adjust lane position now?

Not that I’ve noticed myself? 2hrs ago in the rain, the car did it’s usual phantom brake shenanigans as I passed a hgv travelling in lane two, as I was in lane three. I usually cover the accelerator to prevent this, but wondered if there’s been any improvement in the latest update? Nope! :-(
  14. T

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

Does anyone know if my in home display (supplied by SSE) will continue to work now I’m on I.O? It’s a Geo in home display. When I go to the tariff section (shown on the pic) it has the correct standing charge figure of 26.82p for me. But obviously the current tariff section is incorrect, as it’s...

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

Thanks for the replies guys. I’ll just hit the delay by 3hr button on the dishwasher as I go to bed, just to be safe. At least that way I know it’s definitely the off peak rate, and I’m not chancing anything.
  16. T

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

Quick question, sorry if it’s a dumb one. I’ve been given my charging schedule for tonight, which starts at 10pm. Obviously this is outside the usual off peak hours. I know that the car charge from 10pm will be charged at off peak, but does that include household appliances too? For example, can...

    M3 MIC 2021 tail lights

I think you’re onto a loser straight away regarding the rear lights if you get a M3P. As they sell less numbers, there are far more earlier builds being sold new which have the old lights. I picked up my new M3P in October, and it has the old lights. A friend of mine picked up his M3LR the week...

Model Y headlights different between LR and P in UK?

I’m guessing the matrix headlights that the late M3’s have will be the same as the Y’s. (Samsung matrix lights if I remember correctly?) Just a case of writing the software for it. I’m guessing there’s not been a rush by Tesla because it’s a European thing, and not allowed to be used in the US...

Ok no problem. You’d just said in your original post about looking at your link would’ve given us the answer’s. (Answer’s rather than answer, as in more than one question.) As the other person had only asked one question, I thought you were referring to both of us. Anyway, apologies if you...

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

I did, hence why I clearly said I knew about the 1 vehicle rule and it only being compatible with Tesla for now. I wasn’t asking what their official blurb said, I was asking if there was a way around it for two vehicles, from people who may be in the same boat and who are currently doing the...

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

Just switched over to octopus energy today, and so I’m on the standard fixed rate until I can switch to Go or Intelligent octopus. Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts were on what I should (or could) choose? My circumstances are: I have an Oct 2021 M3P, and have a Wallbox pulsar plus...

    Bodyshop recommendation for Leeds area

Its mainly down to the lacquer. Mobile use single pack lacquer that dries faster (using a mobile heater) but can fade much faster as a result. Also, it’s not a controlled environment, so is open to contaminants due to wind etc. A paint shop uses two pack lacquer which is mixed with a hardener...

    Bodyshop recommendation for Leeds area

Only problem with chips away (or any other smart repair company) is that they can only use a water based paint, due to the environment. So from previous experience on previous cars, there is more chance of colours fading over time etc. Much better using a proper body shop with the correctly...

    Bodyshop recommendation for Leeds area

I’ve just picked my M3P up this afternoon from these guys in Wakefield: Premier Paint Car Body Repairs Wakefield Ltd Can’t recommend them enough! Had a scuff on the rear bumper and they repainted it. It’s the white pearlescent colour too, so a difficult match. Looks mint and exactly like brand...

Charge Stats Not Showing In App

    EV Tariff conundrum

I’m just wanting to gauge what people think on here regarding my conundrum? I’m currently on a fixed tariff with SSE which is 16p/kw day and night. It’s a standard non EV tariff, which ends in May 2022. Do I wait until nearer the time and enjoy the 16p/kw for the next few months, or do I jump...

How dangerous to leave house with only phone key?

I never take any key, just my phone. On two occasions it’s not opened when returning to the car, so just opened it using the app and then used start on the app controls menu to drive. Simples!

    Stated Range vs Real World

My M3P has averaged 331 wh/ml since I got it in October. The wheels definitely make a difference (also the initial couple of days giving family and friends the launch experience) Lol.
  36. T

    [UK]2022.4

I’m still stuck on 44.30.7 so think yourself lucky! 4 month old M3P, which has had early updates up until now. :-(
  37. T

    Stated Range vs Real World

Bang on!! M3P new in Oct, always work to 180 miles max. Love the performance, hate the range. Think I believed the Tesla website bull of 350 miles range without doing the research. Knew it wouldn’t be the quoted figure, but reckoned on at least 250 miles, not under 200.

Anyone tried the motrobe mud flaps? Debating whether to get them or not bother with any? Wanting as OEM look as possible, not the rally car look.

No update? Which update are you on?

30.12 landed with me on Thursday morning (I was on 30.11). Not noticed a single change yet so not worth worrying about. Yeah it’s not the changes I’m bothered about as such, it’s just the fact it’s not updating, as it’s always been quite early with updating up until this point. So was just...

Thanks guys, just a case of waiting I suppose. Hopefully won’t be too much of a wait.

No update? Which update are you on?

Is anyone else not getting the latest Tesla software updates? I have a 4 month old M3P and am currently sat at software version 2021.44.30.7. My work colleague who got his M3LR a week before me has had 2021.44.30.8 and 2021.44.30.11. There are mentions that people are now getting 2022 software...

RHD specific issues with v11 UI changes

Had this the other day. Indicating into a junction and can’t end call as phone icons are hidden behind blind spot camera screen. Que awkward silence as the mother in law says bye but doesn’t put the phone down. Such simple things which unbelievably get past quality control and onto a “finished...

M3P Pilot Sport 4 vs Silent

Thanks for confirming, I knew I’d seen it somewhere on YouTube! Lol. From what they said the stretched sidewall pushes air out from the wheel rather than into it? Though the fact that Tesla don’t do left and right sided wheels in Uberturbine kind of defeats any benefit from the tyre. As one side...

M3P Pilot Sport 4 vs Silent

I might be wrong, but I saw a video stating that the 20” Uberturbine wheel is wider than the previous M3P wheel, and so the Pirelli Zero sidewalks were stretched a little, which helped with aero? Personally I’d always go Michelin over Pirelli, but would the sidewall be the same as OEM Pirelli’s?
