You mean really nice layout? Handicap spot and decent pull through for trailers.

    Scheduled Charging

I wonder if it’s because the car doesn’t know it’s plugged into the charge cable before it goes to sleep due to the charger cable not being powered and it can’t send a signal to the car. When I have scheduled charging on and I plug the car in, it will pull power briefly to check the amps/volts...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

And you think keeping Depp in a Pirates movie at the height of his accusations wouldn’t have hurt the ticket sales of the movie? It took years and a defamation trial for the truth to come out. That’s what I’m saying about Musk. It will take a long time for the truth to come out and until then...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Whether it’s true or not, this will damage SpaceX and Tesla’s reputation as long as Musk is CEO. A lot of people believe the press whether you do or not.

Software updates and T-Mobile 5G internet

Yea the last update kicked me off my home wifi. Had to do the two scroll wheel push reset to get it to reconnect

    2022.12.3

Wanted to report the Wi-Fi issue with 12.3.2. Just realized my Model 3 wasn’t connecting to my wifi anymore. Had to do the two scroll wheel push reset to get it to reconnect.

Supercharger - St. Louis, MO (BarK)

I see your point of view. Looks like the dog park has food and drinks if you read the reviews and you’re charging while they’re open. It could have better amenities but at least it’s not completely bare.

Supercharger - St. Louis, MO (BarK)

It’s right off the interstate which is great for road trips and it’s near the city center which is great for city residences that don’t have level 2 charging at home.

Tesla has officially removed the mobile connector as a standard accessory with every new car purchase; now a $400 separate purchase

https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-mobile-charging-connector-april-17-cutoff/ If they order the car after April 17 and they expect a mobile connector, their research was done poorly.

Tesla has officially removed the mobile connector as a standard accessory with every new car purchase; now a $400 separate purchase

These cars have months long waits. Most people should have it figured out by the time they get their car.

Tesla has officially removed the mobile connector as a standard accessory with every new car purchase; now a $400 separate purchase

Like I said. I don’t feel bad for people that don’t do their own research of how they’re going to charge their car.
  17. A

Tesla has officially removed the mobile connector as a standard accessory with every new car purchase; now a $400 separate purchase

These cars have months long wait times. Is it wrong that I don’t feel bad for people that don’t take the time to research how to charge an EV they’re spending $50k+ on? Charge at a supercharger, buy a Tesla mobile charger if it’s in stock, buy a wall connector, or buy a J1772 mobile charger with...

Elon stops providing mobile connector/says “you're on your own”

Agreed. But Tesla will still sell every car it can make. Tesla is not your friend and will do whatever it can to increase profit margins.

Elon stops providing mobile connector/says “you're on your own”

They get away with it because they know people will still buy the cars. Nobody likes it but cost and parts reduction moves like this will continue as demand remains high.

Tesla has officially removed the mobile connector as a standard accessory with every new car purchase; now a $400 separate purchase

Tesla can get away with this due to high demand. No one likes it but people will still buy the cars. Once demand tapers off in a year or two they might include the charger again.

Tesla has officially removed the mobile connector as a standard accessory with every new car purchase; now a $400 separate purchase

My car knew it was plugged into my mobile connector and it pushed a firmware update to my mobile connector. The car knows what device you use to charge and it sends the data back to Tesla if it is a Tesla device

    Still hate v11

In about a year, the people that have experienced software before v11 will be in the minority. I agree that things should always be improved. I just don't think it's as big as a deal as some people make it. One of the first things a longer Tesla owner will say to a new owner is: Old Owner...

Model 3 has been on the road safely for 4.5 years. I think you've already been proven wrong.

    Still hate v11

I remember the argument that a phone should always have a number pad or keyboard buttons. Now phones with buttons are in the minority. Cars will go the same way. Less input is the future. They’re developing for future cars to have no steering wheel. You’re correct in saying the current main...

    Still hate v11

I didn’t say FSD was their main priority. I said autonomy as a whole. They’d make the mirrors on the car autonomous with eye tracking if they could.
  32. A

    Still hate v11

Tesla’s main priority is autonomy. I honestly think you’ll keep being dissapointed with this company until you realize this and move on.

Small Steering Wheel Indicator On Screen

They’ll be adding more heated hardware to the car in the future and it’s a central location for all of those buttons. Like the new heated windshield wipers
  36. A

    Still hate v11

Lol. Many other car brands have their buttons toward the bottom of their front dash. Are you saying all of the other car brands should put their buttons on top of the dash?? That’d be weird

    Politics - Quarantine Thread

Every government ever created has intervened with peoples lives. You’ll need to go live on an island somewhere to be free of any government intervention. And yes, for full transparency, I’m thankful the government is subsidizing an electric future over a fossil fuels future.

    Pre-conditioning and recognizing driver

Yes just turn on the climate and it will precondition the car. Within the settings under Locks, you can set a driver profile to each specific key card and to each phone key. Whichever key is being used is what driver profile will be set up in the car when unlocking

First Tesla - Model 3 SR+ Multiple problems since pickup

With all of your issues, I’m not sure why you haven’t moved on yet. If I had half the issues you had I wouldn’t have bought a second Tesla. I have had nothing but great experiences so far. I could care less if anyone calls a Model 3 a luxury car or not. My point was most car experts call the...
