Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - E. Colorado Blvd (under construction Nov 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Swung by today, maybe rain is holding this site up because there wasn’t any working going on. Did finally see some cabinets waiting for install.

    Supercharger - West Covina, CA (LIVE 31 Oct 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

The smaller buildings right next to it, closer to Garvey. I think when it was going through planning it was said to be only like 2-3 retail units depending on what tenants move in. Also, I remember the developer saying there were going to be EV charging spots as well. Pasadena has two Volta...

    Supercharger - West Covina, CA (LIVE 31 Oct 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Yes, they aren’t allowed to say what it is yet but by looking at the rendering you can tell it’s an Amazon Fresh. Same thing happened in Pasadena they were very hush hush about it until the Amazon Fresh signage went up. Probably won’t be open until first half 2023 though.

Supercharger - Covina, CA (Ikea, permit found, 16 V3 stalls)

Went and drove around the lot for a bit. First time I've been there in years and I forget how big it is. Didn't see any sign of construction going on. There was a fenced off area on the east side of the underground lot but I think that was more for Ikea storage rather than Tesla. One question...

    Supercharger - West Covina, CA (LIVE 31 Oct 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

The old Lotus dealer was torn down, along with the adjacent dealership, to build an Amazon Fresh and a little strip mall. I think many years ago a "small California car manufacturer" was negotiating to use the Lotus spot as a showroom but nothing ever came of it. It's possible Tesla could take...

Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - E. Colorado Blvd (under construction Nov 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Saw the pedestals out today. Haven't really seen any other equipment but it's possible they are storing it in the structure. There really isn't a lot of room in the front little lot. Especially now with the construction going on.
  7. N

Supercharger - Azusa, CA (permit filed 04/19/2022, 16 stalls)

Permit still hasn't changed since may and no work looks to be happening yet. Also, the Tesla Find Us map changed the projected opening date to Q2 2023. Might be a while on this one.
  8. N

Supercharger - Arcadia, CA (Westfield Santa Anita Center, permits issued, 32 stalls)

Went by earlier in the week and swept through pretty much the entire parking area and didn't see any Tesla equipment other than the battery storage system. Pretty sure that is just being used by the EA chargers though and not related to a new supercharger installation.
  9. N

    Supercharger - West Covina, CA (LIVE 31 Oct 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Went by this morning and had a similar situation, came in with ~5%SOC and still only hit around 90kwh max during charge. Think something might be up with this one. Gave up and just charged enough to make it the the SG one and that one worked as normal.
  10. N

Supercharger - Chino, CA (Central & Walnut Shopping Center), permit, 38 stalls

Wonder if this is the “Chino Hills” one listed as planned for 2023 on the tesla website. It’s a different city but Tesla seems to be pretty loose with the city designations on the website.

Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - E. Colorado Blvd (under construction Nov 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Saw this on my way into work today, had to double back and snap a photo. Sorry for the poor angle but they were starting on the trench. I didn't see any Tesla equipment yet but the parking lot is very small and didn't want to go poking around.
  12. N

Supercharger - Lebec, CA - 49771 Gorman Post Road (permit found, 63 stalls)

Sorry, not a follower. I found this on my own but if you give me something with a timestamp I'll give them credit.

Supercharger - Lebec, CA - 49771 Gorman Post Road (permit found, 63 stalls)

Looks like some small (possibly abandoned) houses are currently on the lot. 63 stalls plus a restaurant seems like a lot for the space listed at the address… No plans or anything attached unfortunately.

Supercharger - Lebec, CA - 49771 Gorman Post Road (permit found, 63 stalls)

Found this permit on epicla. Seems like it’s not covered by a thread yet? EpicLA

    Supercharger - West Covina, CA (LIVE 31 Oct 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Yeah, they bagged up the chargers a few weeks ago. Transformer still not installed.

    Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - 3363 E. Foothill Blvd. (LIVE 5 Oct 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

Tesla was on site this morning, looks like it will be open shortly.
  17. N

    Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - 3363 E. Foothill Blvd. (LIVE 5 Oct 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

Still not up as of this morning. Haven't seen any work going on the last few days. There was a mini excavator there this morning, not sure if it was related though.
  18. N

    Supercharger - Redding, CA (LIVE 11 Oct 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

V4 pedestals are larger and rectangular as opposed to the V3 oval ones. Seems like some of the newer installations are getting the V4 base with the older V3 chargers. I'd imagine it makes it easier to upgrade them down the line eventually. I guess its also possible that this is a straight V4...

    Supercharger - West Covina, CA (LIVE 31 Oct 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

250, is Tesla still making 150 chargers in the US?
  20. N

    Supercharger - West Covina, CA (LIVE 31 Oct 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Went by a few days ago and not much has changed minus the addition of some Tesla signs installed in the bollards. Oddly enough most of the parking lot seems to be getting resurfaced on the other side of the lot. Maybe they are doing the entire thing and just working their way over to the Tesla...

    Supercharger - Redding, CA (LIVE 11 Oct 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

Looks like the newer pedestals that allow for V4 expansion later.
  22. N

Supercharger - Azusa, CA (permit filed 04/19/2022, 16 stalls)

It was sent back to Tesla for revisions on the plan check and never resubmitted. Figured they back-burnered this one after they changed the target date on the Find Us map to Q12023 from Q32022. Drove around that lot the other day and nothing going on.
  23. N

    Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - 3363 E. Foothill Blvd. (LIVE 5 Oct 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

No Transformer, I imagine it's going in the enclosure right next to the cabinets and it is still empty. PWP was on site this morning working in there though so maybe soon. There was also some more trenching being done across Sierra Madre going to the little fenced off hole next to the sidewalk...

    Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - 3363 E. Foothill Blvd. (LIVE 5 Oct 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

Something that I noticed that the signage is up now. The three north-most signs plus the ADA signs all say "Vehicle Charging" while the other say "Vehicle Charging Only". Is there any distinction? Did they just run out of the old signs? Also, the way the signs are formatted it kinda makes it...

    Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - 3363 E. Foothill Blvd. (LIVE 5 Oct 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

Entire side lot was closed this morning while it was being resurfaced.
  26. N

    Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - 3363 E. Foothill Blvd. (LIVE 5 Oct 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

Security guard said this weekend that they aren't expected to be open until the end of the month. Might be a bit of a wait for the transformer.
  27. N

    Supercharger - West Covina, CA (LIVE 31 Oct 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Went by this weekend to check it out. Seems like it construction is almost complete. The transformer is another story. A nice addition I saw was that they added bollards in front of the superchargers. The lane might be a little tight for people backing in so these will hopefully prevent...

    Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - 3363 E. Foothill Blvd. (LIVE 5 Oct 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

There is still a little fenced off area on the south west corner of this lot, not sure if the transformer is going there or in the brick enclosure they built. The fenced off area is about the size of a transformer pad but there is nothing there yet just a hole/trench. The enclosure was open this...

    Supercharger - West Covina, CA (LIVE 31 Oct 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Was hoping the WC supercharger would be in the Eastland Center. Tesla was negotiating with the city a few years back for a spot over on that side but nothing ever came of it. McIntyre has a lot of amenities but the parking lot is very crowded most of the day. I would worry about ICEing but I'm...

    Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - 3363 E. Foothill Blvd. (LIVE 5 Oct 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

Drove by this morning, was pretty interested in the two off to the side that might be pull through for towing. It actually looks like they are ADA spaces. There is a newly poured ADA curb on the sidewalk next to them and the parking blocks are positioned so you park off to the side of the...

    Supercharger - Alhambra, CA (possible)

Found a listing for this project on a property website. Does seem like the owner of the property is planning improvements on this property with 16 Superchargers acting as a perk for new tenants. Doesn't list any updated plans, just renderings that don't include the superchargers. Could't find...

Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - E. Colorado Blvd (under construction Nov 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Still nothing going on this location but a request for separate meter/address was just filed on EPICLA today. Seems like this site is definitely still moving forward.
  33. N

Supercharger - Lawndale, CA - 15207 Hawthorne Blvd. (permit address request)

Hi Everyone, Found a request for address change for a new EVCS. I'm assuming it's a supercharging station. I think this is new but apologies if it isn't. This would match up with the pin on the Tesla Find Us page though.
  34. N

    Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - 3363 E. Foothill Blvd. (LIVE 5 Oct 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

Quick work! Went by on Thursday and they were barely getting the first one in. I think when I was counting pedestals before they were installed there were only 18 too for whatever reason. Maybe they are going to be putting two off to the side for ADA access. Side note, I wonder when they are...
  35. N

Supercharger - Arcadia, CA (Westfield Santa Anita Center, permits issued, 32 stalls)

Drove around all the garages today. Nothing going. The garage under the new outdoor portion is pretty spooky because it’s empty and lights are all in motion sensors. Lol.
  36. N

    Supercharger - Anaheim, CA - Lincoln Ave. (LIVE 8 Dec 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Thread should probably be labeled construction started rather than permit. Looks like the crew has already started according to their instagram account. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CgveQhojSFa/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
  37. N

    Supercharger - Ontario, CA (LIVE 14 Jun 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

Was hoping that they would put some chargers at the CNC site but it looks like there are only 2 in the plans along with some HPWCs. Doubt the superchargers are going to be open to the public. Probably just for people getting service.
  38. N

    Upland, CA service center

Here is the link to the permit/plans if anyone is interested. Was hoping they would put some superchargers on site but the plans only list two so I doubt they are going to be publicly accessible. Tesla SC Upland

Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - E. Colorado Blvd (under construction Nov 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Not only that there is another speculated one even closer to this one than the Hasting Ranch one that popped up today. On walnut by the new Home Depot. I drive by this spot and nothing going. Fwiw looking at the permits it seemed like it was connected to some other improvements to the site that...

Superchargers in Southern California (location speculation)

I don't believe these proposed chargers are located in a garage at all, just next to the garage? The garage behind these isn't a pay lot either, at the moment at least. That garage is usually pretty empty aside from when HD uses up a big chunk of their parking lot for christmas trees. Always...

Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - E. Colorado Blvd (under construction Nov 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

I check on this site frequently because it's in line with my daily commute. Pretty much nothing going on as far as superchargers. This morning all the curbs in the lot were freshly painted. Not sure it's related to any upcoming construction though. N

Supercharger - Malibu, CA - Whole Foods and the Park (LIVE Jun 2019, 5 Urban stalls)

Mods this will probably need a new thread but I think I found a new Malibu Supercharger in the EPICLA site. Plans submitted on 07Feb2022, 20 Stalls, 30745 Pacific Coast Highway Malibu CA 90265. https://epicla.lacounty.gov/energov_prod/SelfService/#/plan/ae3e940f-3c0b-4fa5-99f0-9fe2a32aa984

Supercharger - Pasadena, CA - E. Colorado Blvd (under construction Nov 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Following up on this a bit. Looks like the plans were approved on the 8th according to EPICLA. Found an attachment that in the plans that shows the layout. I drive by that parking lot frequently and I think it might be a bit of a mess to charge there, especially in the evenings. With that said...

Electrify America - San Dimas, CA

Looks like they bumped West Covina off that updated map too. They do have an additional site in Industry that says it's coming in Q2 2021 now though. Hard to gauge how accurate their official map is because there are some missing that are known to have permits out like the Lake Arrowhead location.

Electrify America - San Dimas, CA

Went by yesterday to check out the temporary fence. It was open and nobody was in there so I went in to poke around. No equipment or anything back there yet, just a temporary office bungalow. Seems like kind of a large area sectioned of to be a supercharger so it might just be unrelated target...
