Model 3 completely dead this morning. What an experience. [dead 12v]

Agreed that something else is going on and that just replacing the 12V is not likely to solve the issue. I find it amazing Tesla service has access to a bunch of stats. I wished that the data was available to us as well.

Model 3 completely dead this morning. What an experience. [dead 12v]

I think that’sa good call. If I can’t get them to replace under warranty I’ll just pay to avoid the injectable hassle later

Model 3 completely dead this morning. What an experience. [dead 12v]

Definitely should have kept the new battery. The tech wanted to try to see if it was a reset that got it working or the battery. In the choas of diagnosing they didn't put the new battery back in. I got the car jumped and drove it to the local service center. They checked the logs and it...

Model 3 completely dead this morning. What an experience. [dead 12v]

Ugh. The Hannshow screen was completely removed including the harness 2 days ago. My car was parked outside with about 70% charge. I just went to the car and it's completely dead yet again! I'm on a chat with roadside assitance and they said teh following: I was trying to see if there were...

Model 3 completely dead this morning. What an experience. [dead 12v]

I took delivery of my Model 3 Sept 2018. How long do those typically last?

Model 3 completely dead this morning. What an experience. [dead 12v]

Pretty much all companies will blame an aftermarket product The fact that I’ve had a fair amount of problems with the Hansshow display other than this issue doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence What’s really odd is that jumping the car from a tow truck as well as a portable jumper had zero...

Model 3 completely dead this morning. What an experience. [dead 12v]

Was going to drive my daughter to school this morning only to find my 2018 Model 3 COMPLETELY dead and unresponsive. The car was plugged into the wall charger overnight. Couldn't unplug either. Contacted Tesla roadside assistance. They called a tow truck to have my car towed to the local...

USB Hub for Model 3's front ports?

How did you get it to work? I have a USB drive that worked in my Model S, works when plugged directly into the front ports on the Model 3 but is not recognized when plugged into that USB adapter you mention. The USB drive has a tiny LED showing when it's accessed and it doesn't even flash when...

Here is the full interview with no ads: Hopefully CNN won't force YouTube to take it down.

    Charged charging experience

I have a Nissan LEAF in addition to the Model S. I actually ordered the Model S then decided to pick up the LEAF while waiting. They are both great cars but have different pros and cons. I live in the city so the LEAF is an absolutely ideal city car especially with the surround cameras. That...

WeatherTech FloorLiner now available for Model S

Just got an Email from WeatherTech announcing new products and among them was the new FloorLiner for the Tesla Model S. http://www.weathertech.com/tesla/2013/model-s/floorliner-digitalfit/ just in time for Chicago winter...

Any Chicago owners with vintage detached garages? Question RE 220V

I too am in the city and had an electrician run 220V to my detached garage. Even though my Model S has only a single charger I had him run 100 amp service because I also have a Nissan Leaf and want to charge both at the same time. My garage already had 110V through conduit but it wasn't large...

    EV plates getting popular

The numbers are way over 600 apparently. I recent got 933 EL for my LEAF and 908 EL for my Model S (delivered mid June)

    Superchargers in Normal, IL

I too am seriously considering taking the day off and going. Charging is the only issue but I see on Plugshare.com that there are several EV plugs (doesn't say what kind) around Normal, IL. Worst case I bring a laptop and do a little work while I top off the battery before the trip home.

Partial Recall announced on blog for Model S

I received my Model S last week and it was built during the affected window. When I contacted service today to schedule the appointment they told me that it's not needed because the update was performed before the car was delivered to me. Nice.
