Wiki Teslike Model Y Survey & Order Tracker Spreadsheet

Ordered a white LR on 1/21/23. Have an EDD of March 4-March 31. I’m amazed how much demand has been generated by the price cuts. The sales center where I ordered it was very busy & I wonder if it has slowed down since then.

    Supercharger - Lincoln, NE (610 W O St)

Drove by yesterday. No major changes although it looks as though they have been working on wiring the stalls, cleaned up the site & removed the dumpster.

They’re baaack! A crew from LES was leaving when I took these photos. Progress continues, but weather may delay work for several days.

    Supercharger - Lincoln, NE (610 W O St)

Thanks for the update. If it’s simply a matter of redoing the pedestals it should be finished relatively soon. I’ll be there in a couple of weeks. I hope to be able to use the new supercharger as it’s a little closer to where we stay.

    Supercharger - Salem, OR (SC)

This photo was taken from the entrance off Mission Street. The old Nissan of Salem sign is still on the post. It would look nice in someone’s office inside. Work continues inside the building. The trench for the superchargers is on the left side of this photo. It has been filled in & temporarily...

    Downloading 2022.40.4.2

I’m having a problem with the download. It’s stuck in a loop. The download has been going on for several days. On the phone app it says it’s downloading 2022.40.4.2 & in the car it shows that the current software 2022.40.4.1 is the most up to date software available. Any ideas how I can break...

    Supercharger - Salem, OR (SC)

It’s at an old Nissan dealership site. I drove by there twice last week & observed work being done to the interior of the building. There is also temp paving over the trench in the parking lot to the supercharger area. I’m going to guess that the supercharger won’t be installed until the...

So what does all of this mean? The large cabinets seem to be still in place. Could there have been a serious code violation such as undersized conduit?

    Supercharger - Tremonton, UT

I plan to stay at the hotel anyway so I don’t care about speed. This is a great addition for those staying & it frees up spaces for those just passing through. A great idea! I hope they make it permanent.

Supercharger - Hood River, OR - Anchor Way

This is a second location at another Safeway in Hood River. This was actually supposed to be the original supercharger in Hood River but the agreement fell through & then was revived after the other site was completed.

Supercharger - Quartzsite, AZ - Main Event Lane

Between the two sites are 124 stalls. There must be a tremendous amount of demand on I-10.

    Supercharger - Lincoln, NE (610 W O St)

Lots of change at this site. They are very close to opening. The first set of photos were taken 11/14/22. It is difficult to get photos because it’s a small parking lot at a busy fast food restaurant. Next set of photos taken 11/22/22. All construction equipment removed & paving completed. There...

    Supercharger - Tremonton, UT

Hey they’re slower but it beats waiting in line for an open spot. I’m going to stop there after Thanksgiving. Its a necessary stop on the way to Oregon. I stopped in Tremonton on my way to Nebraska earlier this month. The new chargers weren’t in use but the plastic was removed and they appeared...

    Supercharger - Barstow, CA - East Virginia Way (LIVE 19 Nov 2022, 8 V3 + 2 Urban stalls)

Yeah they seem slow to Tesla owners but they are still more than a Bolt can use….. Perhaps they are intended to take pressure off the other Barstow chargers. They won’t charge as fast as the other chargers but at least you won’t be waiting in line as long. Local owners may find them useful.

Well done video. Hope to be able to use the supercharger when I return from the midwest.

Do supercharger users not care about price?

I wish I was able to use CCS. We bought our 2020 M3 in late December 2019 so unable to use the new CCS adapter. But I understand your original point. In Salem OR Tesla is building a second supercharger less than five miles from the current one that is located in a Target parking lot with...

Do supercharger users not care about price?

I care about price but I also have to consider that getting to a destination is more important than price at an individual supercharger. Rates vary widely by region & time of day so there is little that one person can do to control cost of charging while traveling to a destination.

Do supercharger users not care about price?

We’ve made several trips to Lincoln NE from our home in Oregon during the pandemic. There is one major route & price isn’t a consideration because until recently the superchargers were much farther apart. Time on the road is a larger issue for us. We have noticed higher rates in California &...

    Supercharger - Harrisburg, OR

I stopped to charge Monday evening About 9:30. The bathrooms were open. Great place to charge not a lot of other cars. We bypassed the Springfield supercharger because it’s usually crowded & slow charge rate.

    Supercharger - Ashland, OR

It’s hard to know. The appellant paid $150.00 to file something that was clearly not going to change any decision. My opinion is that he has done some work for local dealers & wanted to curry favor with them. He seemed to think that Tesla should put other types of chargers on a site they are...

    Supercharger - Salem, OR (SC)

Construction of the Supercharger has started. Temporary fencing has been placed around the outer perimeter of the parking lot where the Superchargers will be located. The excavation for the electric service has been done, but the lines haven’t been laid in the trench. As can be seen from the...

While there aren’t any pull through stalls at least there’s room to unhitch to charge. Some superchargers are in areas with limited access. This one’s a converted gas station with plenty of room to maneuver away from the stalls.

    Supercharger - Ashland, OR

As the country transitions to an EV centered road system, having places for light trucks with trailers to charge may be something to consider. But we’re not in that place yet. This site will be well suited for the intended use, cars & light trucks without trailers. Semi trucks need lots of space...

    Supercharger - Ashland, OR

I finally read the appellant’s submittal. It was vague & missed the requirements for an appeal. He spent $150.00 talking about what the city should do which avoided anything factual. What a waste of staff time & planning commission time as well.

It helps to have all of the information needed to rebut the poor arguments. Average daily traffic isn’t going to grow by 50% with the addition of this site, more like several dozen each day & some of those will probably stay at the hotel. With so many Teslas driving through Ashland this site...

USPS should probably go EV, but they wont: 16 states sue USPS to block truck purchase

I think this is some states fighting anything that is related to climate change. It puts direct pressure on those states to switch their fleets. They are going to find though that many major companies are changing the products they sell & it will become harder not to change as well.

Should the State Police purchase some electric Dodge Chargers

Rally you bring up some good points. The larger problem though is that in about 12 years or so major departments especially in the western US are going to have to address these issues when ICE police vehicles are unavailable. Making steps towards the deadline is important.

    Supercharger - Ashland, OR

I don’t know that this is Tesla hate, but I do think Jeff Sharpe is misguided to think that somehow there should be other charging companies at this site which he implies. Or that their grid can’t handle the load which is kind of silly. All of this has to be reviewed by engineers & Tesla won’t...

Should the State Police purchase some electric Dodge Chargers

It isn’t just how fast it is or how much range the vehicle has. Think of police vehicles as the most abused rental fleet. Different drivers often going places you would never take your car. Throw in people that are arrested & often belligerent & you have cars that wear out quickly. It isn’t just...

    Supercharger - Salem, OR (SC)

Yeah I waited for years for the first Salem supercharger. Lots of disappointment then. Tesla pushed back the construction several times. However since a legitimate media outlet has confirmed Tesla’s post & cited as its source “City of Salem permits“ perhaps it’s time for a blue pin.

    Supercharger - Redding, CA (LIVE 11 Oct 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

Previous location may not necessarily be dead. It’s hard to know with Tesla. There is a site in Hood River Oregon that was considered dead after negotiations halted & a new site was used. Then the owner of the first site changed their mind. The original site is now under construction.

    Oregon Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

When feasible, which I expect to be most of the time, I plan to use the Harrisburg supercharger. The access from I-5 is much better than Springfield, the V3 charging is superior & there is a bathroom. Other than fast food there isn’t much calling me to use the Springfield supercharger.
