This has been my experience also up until the EAP was pushed to the car. Some minor hesitations particularly exiting the city link tunnels but otherwise no PBraking.

Yes I understand that part, it was more doing it without the fan running. Thinking you might be on to something, I just went out to the car and it appears to happen after it’s asleep. Fan is on 0 with the recirc and a/c off. I can’t replicate it though unless it’s been asleep

Not sure tesla are convinced anything is wrong. Sc agreed the airflow wasn’t very high (height not speed) but pulled it apart and said everything was as it’s meant to be. The loan can they gave me (2022) was noticeably higher. That said they could not find fault with mine.

I have an early LFP model 3, April 2021 build with 50,000km. I charge as per instructions once a week to 100%. The car showed 422km when new and snuck up to 424 a few months after. Now showing 412 when full. LFP will still degrade as has been mentioned, but at a reduced rate (hopefully!!)

I see you have the LED strip with the factory style plug adaptor, I would take off the grey tap you installed and instead apply this tap to the brown wire as this is the negative. This will earth the LED correctly. It will earth the frunk button as well, but it should not matter as it’s earthed...

On my car (2021 update) the grey wire is the positive and the brown or pink colour is the negative. That would explain the e fuse going as you are basically grounding that circuit. I see earlier on you were asking me where I tapped the grey wire, but this was for the positive for the LED strip...

You say once you make the connection with the T tap on the grey wire, the LED stops working. (And the frunk button light) How are you earthing the LED before you tap the grey wire?

It’s still doing that after 2022.20.8. My workaround is to cancel the navigation and do it again. On the second attempt it’s sitting at the top as a recently visited and seems to work.

You mean the surprise dial feature?? Tesla introduced this to reconnect with old friends who you frequently (and deliberately) avoided. It’s a great way to catch up.

Yes that’s correct about splicing the cars tail and indicators. It isn’t a particularly difficult job but it was time consuming to do a neat job. The wiring with the ev stealth hitch has its own lighting ecu (that takes power from the plug) so you aren’t loading up the factory wiring at all...

It’s been discussed a bit before, theory is a frequency/refresh rate issue with the speed signs vs the cars cameras.

I had a loaner 3 last week as they replaced the windscreen in mine. I can confirm a 2 week old 3 with FSD was doing the exact same thing with lanes ‘disappearing’ with perfectly marked lines.

Just to give you an idea of how well it works. There’s no other lights on in my garage, it’s just the frunk light.
