Anyone's front door seem like it wont stop for cars? I parked the X next to a 3 in the garage and if I try to open the door while standing further away, it almost slams into the 3 (I put my hand there and it slams my hand into the 3).

My range was Dec 15-Jan5. Then Dec 16-Jan 5. Kept shifting until Dec 18-Jan 5 and then last night got vin and range changed to Dec 19-Dec 27. This morning they assigned delivery date and defaulted to home delivery. Saturday I got the text for 10k supercharger miles.

Not sure if you answered this but do you have a price for model X just side and back, not windshield? And how high up does it go if we don’t do full windshield?

I did home delivery for my 3. I didn’t really notice any issues until I accepted delivery so 🤷 They said they’ll drop it off between 4-8pm but they ended up dropping it off at 11am on my driveway. The guy then got on an Uber and left

uh oh now I’m nervous. I applied at adelfi xause Tower said max was 100k. Got approved at Adelfi but they only approved 100k and said that it is also their max. Now went back to tower for better rates but our car EDD range starts today…

Which one did you use? And I know it was a month ago but at what rate? I find people sometimes say local CU but then others do qualify. Best I found right now is Blupeak at 3.69%. They didn't confirm they do 0 down but I called and they said they don't have the 100k max

For those in the US, I know this is talked about often but rates keep on changing. Have any of you gotten the model X with 0 down? Most credit unions I was looking at with decent rates offer 100k max loans Edit to add: Which bank/CU did you use?

Curious what were the hacks and if that works, why not just keep it that way?

I personally think it isn’t just the seven seats for plaid but also the fact that you can’t fold down the seats. Sometimes I just need that little bit more space. I also don’t really need the power so I think LR would be fine (still waiting for mine)

So jealous of all these VINs. Did any of you get an email before the VIN to order a charger or anything? Wondering if I should monitor the email instead of checking the app every hour.

Any Californian's get a VIN recently? Mine went back to Dec 26-Feb 8. We're thinking we won't take delivery if we can't get it this year :(

Honestly went to go look at the EQS SUV and now I can't decide between the two. Charging is a plus for Tesla. I haven't tried Mercedes version of autopilot but I feel like Tesla might win on that too. Mercedes wins on comfort and noise though.

Haha wow. My family won’t go BMW cause of the problems we’ve had with previous ones. We are hesitating on Mercedes but the luxury is hard to overlook

Wow you got your car fast! The Mercedes and the bmw are just so much more luxurious (granted you probably didn’t check out EQS SUV since it just came out)

That’s true. The fit and finish of rivian turned me away. We’re looking at Mercedes’ EQS SUV and BMW iX now. They definitely have a more luxury feel but it’s hard to turn away from Tesla. Our order price is 108k so not as much as current but still a big amount

Anyone here consider other large EVs? We’ve waited over a year and now don’t know if we still want the X. We have a model 3 and love it but unsure if the X is worth the premium

EQS seems so cool. My family really likes the supercharger network and we don't like buying first model year cars so we're sticking with Tesla. You're right that for 80-85k it is hard to beat especially since Model X is now ~130k

I think it's just a safety thing. It seems like it is part of the recall and thus they cannot deliver.

Nothing wrong with keeping your charger with the Y. You get credit to get another one so personally I would just order another one as well. If you sell your Y, I would give the charger along with the car but not everyone does that.

It all depends on traffic, elevation, temperature, wind, how you drive, etc. You will most likely never get the EPA estimate

Ah nice! Yeah I think the first few times I went in it was the same SA so he agreed to do it. This last time was a different SA and he said Tesla is now looking at them with a magnifying glass so he can't approve everything as goodwill. I figured I'll try another service center next.

What rattles were they? In my model 3 they addressed the rattle the first time but it didn't fix it and now that it's been a couple months, they won't address it anymore for free.

Nice! SoCal delivery happening right after quarter end. Please keep us updated on whether or not there are new changes. I know they don't normally do model year changes but one can hope.

What was your EDD before this? Glad to see orders after mine getting delivered. Maybe that means mine will come soon.....although there are still many orders before mine that weren't filled yet.

Yep. But also they will eventually not even be used. I personally want it still but if they just disable it later on....idk
