    Supercharger - Richmond, KY

This was a welcome surprise earlier this month! I fully expected to wait in line at London only to see the nav list 14 stalls. They expanded that site real quick.

Has anyone received a '17 Model X AP Camera Upgrade?

Finally got my cameras upgraded today after getting notified in the app on 1 Nov. Now just waiting on FSD beta... Thanks for all the comments!

12 stalls makes a lot more sense than 32. Still would have been awesome to have that many though.

MX17 - FalconWing Door weather stripping deteriorating - Not covered by Warranty

You're welcome to use my VIN. I had the same repair done under warranty by the Orlando, FL service center. They were great and didn't push back at all. But it did require them to replace the roof glass above both FWDs because the seals are physically attached to the glass. They were even able to...

    Supercharger - Beavercreek, OH

Stopped by today. 3 Tesla v3 cabinets are now on-site. I didn't see any charging posts, but there is a big conex there now, so maybe the posts are stored inside. They have already trenched up the ground for the conduit, which is also on-site, but not yet installed.

Has anyone received a '17 Model X AP Camera Upgrade?

Tesla still says the AP Camera upgrade needed for FSD is not yet available for my 2017 Model X90D. My X originally shipped w/AP HW 2.0, but has since been upgraded to AP3.0 & MCUv2. I've seen plenty of Model S owners get the upgrade, but has anyone with Model X? I'm in Ohio.

Supercharger - Moraine, OH - (Service Center, limited hours)

Okay cool. Glad to see they have some. I moved to Ohio last year, but used to live in Melbourne. It was so nice to finally get a service center nearby in Merritt Island. Seems like I've gotten lucky again with the new Dayton one coming on-line. Anyways, here are some pics of the new Moraine...

Supercharger - Moraine, OH - (Service Center, limited hours)

It's been a few months, but last time I was at the Merritt Island service center, they only had level 2 destination chargers. Certainly no Superchargers in the parking lot.

Supercharger - Moraine, OH - (Service Center, limited hours)

Yes, their 3 "dealerships" are in Cinci, Columbus and Cleveland. Those are the only locations allowed to sell & deliver cars. They may also be service centers. There are no restrictions on service centers. Ohio does not allow car manufacturers to operate dealerships. Years ago, Tesla got the...

Supercharger - Moraine, OH - (Service Center, limited hours)

Unfortunately, I don't think it can operate as a store/dealership since Tesla is only allowed 3 dealerships in Ohio. It will only be service center. So no delivering cars.

    Supercharger - Findlay, OH

This will help a ton with our drives from Dayton to Detroit. Last time we made the drive the 150kW Toledo station was full with cars in line. But I do wish they had put this one on the East side of the highway, near that big clump of restaurants (Culvers!). Oh well, still near a Denny's...

    Supercharger - Titusville, FL

Hoping for another one just a little south down in Cocoa, like their website says (i.e. near the EA charger). That would be in a much better location for anyone driving between Orlando and Kennedy Space Center.

Just applied this update last night. Tried to drive my car today to find out it doesn't recognize any of my 2 key fobs (key fob not inside car message). Can still use the keyfob buttons to control doors/unlock, but that's it. Need to use the app to drive. ('17 X90D w/MCU2 & AP3 upgrade). Looks...

MX17 - FalconWing Door weather stripping deteriorating - Not covered by Warranty

Since no one replied to you: This is an aesthetic issue. And it appears to be very common for used Model X's. You can even see the issue on pictures of Model X's in Tesla's used inventory on-line. Though, I believe they fixed it on newer cars. No water in the cabin. The actual seals are in a...

MX17 - FalconWing Door weather stripping deteriorating - Not covered by Warranty

I just took a few pictures and made an appointment via the app. I think I chose the "trim" category. I said that the exterior trim was deteriorating into a sticky goo. The tech gave me zero trouble about it which surprised me based on what I've seen here. I attached my invoice if that helps...

MX17 - FalconWing Door weather stripping deteriorating - Not covered by Warranty

Alright, Tesla replaced my FWD top weather stripping today via mobile service appointment under warranty! So, a little history: I noticed my FWD weather stripping deteriorating on my May '17 Model X late last year. I scheduled a service appointment with the Orlando service center in Nov-19...

    Supercharger - Kettleman City, CA (LIVE 15 Nov 2017, 24 V2 + 16 V3 stalls, lounge)

Alright, my memory was somewhat off on this, but I still gist of it correct lol: It was a Model S90D (not X), it was a post w/image (not video) and it was 164kW (not 167kW). But here's the post: 2017 Model S 90D charging faster than 150kW : teslamotors

    Supercharger - Kettleman City, CA (LIVE 15 Nov 2017, 24 V2 + 16 V3 stalls, lounge)

I remember watching a YouTube video a while back of a Model X90D at the Vegas v3 Supercharger peaking at around 167kW. So it seems even 90kWh packs may benefit somewhat from the v3 chargers.

MX17 - FalconWing Door weather stripping deteriorating - Not covered by Warranty

Yup. They sell them used with this issue. Many of the Model X's on their own used site have the issue. Here's a good example of one (scroll through the pics): 2016 Model X | Tesla

MX17 - FalconWing Door weather stripping deteriorating - Not covered by Warranty

Thanks for posting this! I hate that these X's have so many issues, but I'm always encouraged when they redesign parts to actually address the issue instead of just replacing. Recently had my front door handles replaced when one failed, and it was awesome to see them swap in a new design.

Just picked up Model X today, has defects

Tesla service should easily fix the issues you have. But first, I would use the manual to make sure it's not something on your end. https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/model_x_owners_manual_north_america_en.pdf Self-presenting driver door: Page 9 of the manual explains how to enable this...

    Supercharger - Nashville, TN

Actually, you can get increased speeds on v3 superchargers. Of course '17 90D packs won't get anywhere near 250kW, but you should be able to get over the 150kW cap that v2 superchargers have. Here's an example of an S90D getting 164kW on a v3. 2017 Model S 90D charging faster than 150kW ...

I believe it's the vents at the top that most easily distinguish them from the v2 chargers which have vents at the bottom. Here's some good info where you can see both: Supercharger SuperGuide | TeslaTap Of course the easiest way to tell is just to look at the supercharger cables which are...

More pics of the ongoing work from Reddit. Stopped at the 40 stall Kettleman City, CA Supercharger today & looks like they‘re starting to replace the original Superchargers with ones straight out of the box. Perhaps they are V3? I tried to get a bit closer & ask questions, but they...

MX17 - FalconWing Door weather stripping deteriorating - Not covered by Warranty

This just started happening to both my X90D (May-17 build) doors at around 29k miles. I originally bought the car in Ohio in Aug '17, but moved to Florida in Apr '18. I just noticed earlier this week that the weather stripping around both FWDs is cracking & basically turning to sticky goo. I...

News for Model X owners with the dreaded shudder

So I'm at about 15k miles and have always driven on standard because I've read it will help avoid uneven tire wear & therefor give me better tire life. However, I have always noticed that it shudders when accelerating hard in standard. It hasn't really been an issue since I don't often floor it...

It's not surprising that this station is unpowered. Tesla will put the stall numbers on the pedestals when they do their final check-out, you can tell from the picture that this hasn't happened yet. If you happen to stop by again, see if you can spot the utility transformer and meter. If the...

Can I use my own referral code for Tesla Solar?

Any way to program Homelink without handheld remote?

Success! I ran into the same issue as the OP. I just moved into a house in Florida and the previous owner was sketchy, didn't leave any remotes. Real estate agent wasn't able to get them. The garage door opener is on the older side, but the keypad is wireless. Initially I took the keypad off...

lol I'm glad I'm not the only crazy person who installs NEMA 14-50 plugs in family/friend's garages. Nope. No food within walking distance except for Jolane's Restaurant. You could certainly kill time browsing Abt (and pick-up some of their free cookies), but otherwise there's nothing to do at this stop. My bet is they put a supercharger here because of some offer by Abt, like an offer to...

Dallas Service Center damage while in-service >$30k, Tesla won't cover diminished value!

Tesla repaired your car, extended your bumper to bumper warranty 4-years, gave you a 4-year service plan, provided you a loaner that was better than your actual car and paid you $5k cash. Is that correct? I get that it's a crappy situation, but *sugar* happens. Seems like they took care of you...
