    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Hi all, After some confirmation of what I need to do (based in Aus). I've got a 2022 Model 3 RWD and a set of SSR GTV01's from my last car I was intending to put on. SSR wheels: 18 x 8.5 +40, 5x114.3. Tyres: intending to take then off the current stock wheel and put it on the SSRs (roughly...

    Changing Wheels

Hi all, I've got a M3 RWD 2022 with about 6,000 km's (got in March) with the 18's. I have a set of wheels lying around from my previous car and thought I'd chuck it on to make it a tad different (most common white on black). It should fit judging from the specs alone, however am unsure about...

Best Way to Get Rid of the Old Non Tesla Car

I used Pickles DIY Inspect, you have to download the app which makes u take about 10 pics and a video of the engine running. Their response is pretty quick, within a business day (latest for me was a couple hours). If you accept they'll send a tow truck over, at their cost, and you'll get the...

    Charging is tripping circuit breaker

Apologies, it didn't attach in the previous post. I have a different sparky coming on Tues (for other stuff), have mentioned this to him so he'll take a look whilst here.

    Charging is tripping circuit breaker

Thanks everyone Final comment - turn off all the other circuits on the board(s) and then run only the charger 32A circuit. If it runs without tripping the main breaker then you have proof that your mains is overloaded. - Will give that a go tonight when I get the car back from putting on PPF...

    Charging is tripping circuit breaker

I'll contact the sparky (yes he was licensed) to come and take a look again. It could be a different breaker, there are 4 more but those weren't tripping (or labelled) so I only took a picture of the breaker that did trip. Thanks everyone for all the responses,

    Charging is tripping circuit breaker

Thanks for the response. I've been charging via the 10amp for about an hour now so the charger itself doesn't seem to have an issue. With the 32amp tail, as soon as I turn the main on the circuit immediately. I just tried setting the charge to 5amp before disconnecting the 10amp tail. Then...

    Charging is tripping circuit breaker

Hey all So picked up my Model3 RWD today in Alexandria! Drove it back home and installed the update. Since its sitting at 40% thought I'd just charge it to full tonight. My (budget) charging setup is a 32amp single phase switch and I've got a 32amp 3 pin tail (Gen2 Mobile Connector Adaptor...

LFP battery, charge to 100% each night?

Hi all, I'm getting my SR in a couple weeks so have been reading this helpful thread. My situation is 4 days a week we typically only drive 8km a day (4km round trip in morn and 4km in afternoon), one other weekday maybe 20km, weekends we'd drive maybe 70km. So I'd say about 130km (80 miles) a...

Australia Model 3 - Delivery waiting room

Thanks for the replies, really appreciate it. Thats a pretty reasonable price. I'll keep the ceramic coating in mind, I've never had a car coated before as I don't mind waxing it once a year (and meguairs ceramic wax every 2 months). Just not sure about doing a paint correction myself.

Australia Model 3 - Delivery waiting room

Thanks for that, has been recommended a few times from what I've seen. Would likely go for the full front kit PPF. Did they have to do any paint correction prior to coating? From reviews about the MIC, it seems to be much better these days and not really required. I couldn't find pricing on the...

Australia Model 3 - Delivery waiting room

Ah right, so seems there's still a bit of waiting time to go. I thought it'd be soonish as why would Tesla be holding on to the funds for more than a week. Previous cars I've bought only requested payment a couple days before pick up. I ordered on 20th Dec though so much later than you guys...

Thanks everyone for the responses, pretty clear I have a lot more homework to do. This is a buzzing forum and looking forward to getting more involved! Have taken the points on the solar panel, I'll need to get some people around for quotes etc. Understand its not a clear cut answer. Where I...

Clarification questions for a new potential owner

Hi all, After clarifications for someone who's new to Tesla/EV. Apologies if these have been asked before. From what I've read, the treatment of charging the battery are different. Is the below a correct view of the standard usable range? RWD • Total Range: 491km • Effective Range: 90% (100% -...
