i was delivered 9/13..they told me to wait for the missing mats and cargo area. well 3 weeks later car needed service (airbag sensor) and the service people (i asked what can be done) setup a ranger delivery of all the missing parts. i would probably still be waiting if i was not proactive...
LR people; i know u hear this now and then..but hear it again:
sometimes as I drive it I feel its more than I deserve. after 3500 miles I still have not come close to pushing it because its so damn fast that I let off as its still gathering steam. add in the yoke which I hope to never go back...
mine (2021 LR picked up 9/13) 4 days in service with passive restraint failure on passenger side. also the center console slider completely failed.
thankfully they gave me a 2019 X.
i like the X but really miss the S yoke among other things.
^^ agree to all
there are times I lament having to go back to a round wheel. I find the yoke superior to the round wheel in comfort, daily use for signals etc etc. additionally I do believe in time other users will come around from iffy to liking it more than the round wheel.
i also have 39...
it telescopes, and rises or drops..i have not seen any tilt function. not saying it takes time getting used to but once u adapt i truly believe most people will say Elon was right. its those who go in negative that never fully see the plus's imo.
the OS is different than the Y, 3...and i'm...
day 4 with the LR here...and i find the yoke superior to the round wheel. i love turning with it , love the buttons over stalks, cruising straight is easier thanks to the width, etc etc..and i'm in my mid 50's.
when i read negative stories i feel like its fake news!
i will. just in the garage updating, etc. its more attractive than you see in the pics. i feel like i'm closer to heaven, really.
worth the wait? i guess. the forum did help immensely.
you all heard this before..a lot of us have had fast cars through the yrs...coming from mt kisco through new...
picked up today Mt Kisco, NY.
even on a monday they were moving me along. missing mats, back shelf, lower trunk area cover. August build
just got home and as I exited the rubber gasket that the window closes to fell out partially. i hit my hair on it.
the person they put me with said they...
i paid the last three Tesla's with checks, either in full or partial with loans...this time they asked for money ahead of time (9/13 delivery)
i paid as requested last week as i did not want to mess with a 6 month wait as it is already. i guess i'm a wuss
i was complaining this morning about a VIN but no appointment for a week since receiving it.
well they read the forums lol.
appointment 9/13 , then the email to pay up. on my previous 3 tesla's i paid in person...but of course I'm worried to end up waiting another damn 6 months. they have my...
1146..got the VIN 4 days ago...really my eyes did a double take. 9/6 -9/12....so i called one of the Tesla numbers today and the nice person told me car is supposed to arrive in New York 9/9...so i promptly got my insurance id setup for 9/10 on the online config...
this will be Tesla #4 since...
august 20 update moved 3 days later and 3 days closer on the back end.
currently this comes right after a family trip (like everyone else is doing in august lol)

hey guys...order date 3/21 with Tesla financing...date range 9/2 to 9/20...huuuge q:
they never sent me to reapply or refresh the financing...i called them and got a human who said they would have finance send me new forms but its been days...anyone have any advice to get this relocked in...
1146 , ordered 3/21 black/black + FSD
my date range 9/18-30 has not changed since getting it yesterday and if it does it will most certainly worsen my mini high..especially since i told people who would listen how happy i am to hear MS is a month away lol.
i broke down and called the mount kisco sales/ service center. really nice lady said "there's a bunch of cars here i see..where is the most recent?" "ahh, there it is". says i am not "matched" to a car yet. other stuff was said but the bottom line is they know nothing until a VIN is connected...
been a long time since i lamented on the wait; and who else understands outside of you all on this thread?!!
ordered in march...will be my 4th..i took care of my young adult kids with 3's (while i paid their univ also!) that i used also and set my wife up with a Y that she loves...and finally...
wow, to trade in due to the suspension characteristics?
three Tesla's so far and never did i notice an inferior suspension. (yes, came from bmw, land rover and expedition air suspension to name the most recent) Model is a forthcoming summer order btw.
just took a SR+ from CT to Delray, FLA...having the SC's are beyond a gamechanger. my wife has a model Y which we did not take..i was amazed how many model Y's at the SC's. they outnumbered the 3's.
so i'm at our condo here and decided to try the chargepoint at the place. its nice to have i...
so i received a VIN, gave to my insurance company and they asked me if I gave them a bad number because it does not match to anything.
once I found a human to talk to @ Tesla ; he told me its a temp VIN..made sense at the time. anyway, still waiting as the advisors I do get a hold of (Mt Kisco...
we ordered MY July 4th and have the same concerns. have a temp VIN and finally got a hold of an advisor that the car is in the general delivery area but they are "going over it"
any recent deliveries of MY that can offer up the most recent timeline from order to that pickup text?
i called the SC yesterday and was told Y is in Chicago also...still have not received the texts for delivery dates (will be third Tesla)
Mount Kisco NY is where i usually get deliveries...hoping for early next week as i already traded in my wifes ICE.
its amazing some people do not see that politicians say what their audience wants to hear. everyone must remember when Al Gore talked like an African American preacher to that crowd? or Obama saying some weird thing to certain groups? those sound bites of Trump talking about renewable's were...
nice, so at least two Tesla teams in Ct today. i wanted the larger setup also, but they told me the shading issue meant i could only do the medium size and i just rolled with them. i'm hoping to purchase a power wall in early 2020 for backup.
today was installation day. very nice, organized group. 7.56kw medium rental for Ct. looking forward to printing money as Mr Musk said the rental deal would be. waiting on inspection and whatever else is needed to fire this thing up.
traveled from home in Orange to Fairfield packed some beer and wine leftover after my business holiday party (in ffld) then headed to SB SC..probably had 20 miles on car by then.
an above poster said the SB SC was having issues so i hope that's all it is.
