Does anybody know when the roadster 12 volt battery recharges? What voltage triggers a recharge and what is end voltage on battery after recharge?

Makes sense….. it is version 3 and I have done that. Can I change the target cooldown temp and time period cooldown runs in version 3?

When I try to set parameters #15 to “1” to initiate cooldown I get a “parameters not supported” message. #14 is set to TR. what am I doing wrong?

Hello, Problem.... my OVMS3 only works for about 3-4 days at a time then it shuts off. If I disconnect the diag port from the car And plug it in again, it reboots and appears to work fine...for about three days then shuts off again. Anybody know how to fix it?

The alert/notification I got on my cellphone was something like: WiFi connection lost. Do you want to use cellular data? Yes. No Just got this Notification on my iPhone OTA firmware 3.2.011 has been updated (OVMS will restart)

Ah shoot......... lost connection again. Is there any way I can choose cellular data over WiFi in the APP?

Thanks, I got up this morning and to my dismay the OVMS was not connected! No panic on my part .... I live in Sedona where some truly wacky stuff happens tp electronics for no reason. The program actually told me it couldn't find WiFi and wanted to switch to cellular. That is way cool...

I got the first version of the battery upgrade a few years ago and just found out about reported degradation. My OVMS reports CAC 191.3Ah and SOH: 86%.. Anybody know what that means.

Well its a great video. I got all the way up to 'Installing OVMS"..... went thru OVMS Network to generating the Module Network and I was trying to sign in to the box and it would not recognize the name and password of the module that I just created. Woke up this morning to find my Ideal Range = 226m and my Estimated Range = 56m. This was after a long drive in the AZ heat that left only 8m on the Ideal Range and 3m on the Estimated Range. Put car in cool garage and charged up like normal. Anybody have an idea what happened and how to reset?

Finally found the solution by going back thru blogs in forum. Changed "Function 15" setting and got contact thru iPhone. Reset charge mode to standard. Good as gold.

Help! Out of town and need to change charging mode with OVMS. When I try I get a " Failed: Unable to write to CAN." What setting did I have wrong? I am trying to do this from my iPad and IPhone.

That is correct! When they did my upgrade they disconnected my OVMS leaving old readings on the display. They update firmware AFTER battery installation and run diagnostics to make the PEM's new board work properly. My readings on OVMS were the same as the day I dropped if off until I had to...

Well, I just got the call from Scottsdale. Feb 20 is 3.0 upgrade date. Deposit placed last April...... I have 43500 miles, CAC=138 and standard charge is 165-170. I have always driven 992 pretty hard so battery life was pretty good for me. Looking forward to the extra range and added longevity...

Checked the new Destionaion Charger at the Marriott in West Sedona AZ and guess what ....... ERROR!! Pilot signal error. It was put in over the summer and is the " wrap cord over the top kind ". There are two other Destination Chargers up here so I'm going to test them later when I go uptown...

OK....... Just got car back from SC at Tempe. Nice place!! Two day service with loner. They replaced one PEM fan and removed the protective "bracket" that they said was restricting airflow to fans! They said it was there to prevent snow and winter slush from getting into fans ....... They said...

The programming tool or a substitute would be great. I am about to change tires for the winter and will need to go to SC to reset the TPMS on my winter tire.... Or deal with the annoying warning screen
