Installing Wall Connector is better than NEMA 14-50

That is correct. I overlooked .54 and see that. I don't have a GFCI for all of my equipment and have never had an issue. But I do understand the worst case scenario and that is always the case for safety. My neighbor burnt his garage down and it was on a GFCI circuit, it doesn't protect from...

Installing Wall Connector is better than NEMA 14-50

So, are you saying my welders and 240v grinders need a GFCI? That is a bouble edge sword. By not installing a GFCI doesn't mean you're cutting corners. Because majority of the installs might not need it. If the install is outdoors, yes! Install a GFCI. The whole reason for the GFCI is to...

No, its stock suspension. I want to lower it 1" and get wheel spacers. The tint is 30%.

So, has anyone been to this location? Tesla shows it online now.

    Uncomfortable driver seat

Yes, both were new vehicles. That's kind of personal....lol... I wear a 34-36 depending on the seamstress. I too came from a Miata and my hips fit fine in it, but my shoulders would kill me on a drive over an hour. Like I said, I have a wide frame. I have to get an XL shirt to fit my shoulders...

    Uncomfortable driver seat

They have broke in some, not much. It's still a tight fit. I will say, it doesnt bother me as much as it did when I first got it.

    Uncomfortable driver seat

You would think so. But, the seats feel different on my 21 SR+ than my 22 M3P. The 21 SR+ feel softer and the sides don't gouge my hips. I'm 6' but I have a wide frame so to speak and the side cushion's push into the sides of my glutes/hips. Not horrible, but definitely noticeable. But overall...

Petition for a Supercharger in the Phoenix-East Valley area

The Chandler proposition seems to be in downtown Chandler. The Mesa location seems to be on Main and Center. I also put in two suggestions at the Superstition Mall and one in Show Low. I go to Show Low/Pinetop area to mountain bike and I don't mind stopping in Payson, but I don't want to go up...

    Slow superchargers in Scottsdale?

I've used all 3 in Scottsdale and the connectors at Kierland and Scottsdale Rd. seem to be slower than normal these days. But the new one at Shea seems to be faster than the others. I try to map to the chargers as soon as possible to get the battery conditioning going.

People in Phoenix AZ seem interested in Tesla

I did find a Volta charger in the parking lot of a Mountainside fitness located on Ellsworth and the 24. They have two CCS chargers and I used my adapter with no problems.

People in Phoenix AZ seem interested in Tesla

There are plenty of us Tesla drivers here in AZ, but I've noticed more of them in Scottsdale and the East Valley. which seems to be ironic since we don't have any Superchargers in the East valley. There are 4 in Scottsdale, one in Tempe, central Phoenix, North Phoenix and Glendale. The Buckeye...

Anyone have issues with their insurance for a Tesla?

I still have Geico coverage on my GMC Sierra, Toyota corolla, Kia Forte and my home.

Anyone have issues with their insurance for a Tesla?

I learned the hard way as well. AP in traffic will give you all sorts of alarms on the " forward collision warning" and will bring your score down dramatically. So I stopped as well because I had to pay around $120 that month. Thats weird because my Insurance was less expensive in California...

Wow, thats the complete opposite for me.

The first one is named " Gasbuster" and the second one is "SEXY M3".
  27. JssonB

Anyone have issues with their insurance for a Tesla?

No, but I removed both my Tesla's from Geico and went with Tesla insurance. Geico wanted $180 a month and I have 789 credit score and excellent driving record for 30 years. Tesla is a variable rate per how you drive, but I'm paying $74 to $86 a month now.

Upgrade options from 120V (14-50 uncorded vs 14-50 corded vs wall connector)?

Yeah, true. $500 should be close to the amount with only a 3 foot run and using quality material though. With the breaker panel just on the other side, it could be even less of a run.
  31. JssonB

    Model 3 Windshield crack issue

It has to do with the debris on the roads that you drive. I had more windshields in my Toyota Prius than any other vehicle. I always make sure I get the $0 deductible for glass coverage on all my vehicles. It only costs $10 (Tesla insurance) a month and it's worth it since we replace at least...

Battery drain after 2022.24.8 Software update?

I'm seeing the same thing after the last update. I even see it on my commute and it's added 2-3% more drain one way and it's been cooler outside so I'm not running the AC as hard. It's not a lot, but I notice it.
  33. JssonB

Upgrade options from 120V (14-50 uncorded vs 14-50 corded vs wall connector)?

WOW, that's pricey for a 2 foot run. I realize the trip charge, labor and the permits, but holy smokes. It's such an easy job it blows my mind. I've been an electrician for 30 years with the last 16 at a City municipal department to know all those charges are ridiculous! But don't install it...

looking at used 2022 Model 3. Concerned has high mileage

Yes and no. Its all relative in what your expecting. I have 8k on my 2022 and its only 4 months old while my wifes 2021 has 9k. If it was taken care of and maintained well, shouldnt be a problem. Unless you want something with less miles

Installing Wall Connector is better than NEMA 14-50

Thankfully mine came pre-installed with my house too and its right at the back corner so my wife can pull strait in. Otherwise it would've been a horrendously long run through the attic and I'm to old for that.

Installing Wall Connector is better than NEMA 14-50

I have no problem with using my mobile connector for both my cars. All I had to buy was a Neo splitter. It allows me to charge both at the same time at a lower rate or one car right after each other.

    What does this icon mean?

I believe this to be true. I've monitored this for a day and I purposely moved out of proximity and then within proximity. When I exited the car it was white. I got far enought out of the way and once it disconnected, it went grey. Now I did walk back into the garage and it stayed grey until I...

I was wondering the same thing. Car version is 2022.24.8 and app is 4.12.1-1271. I see the icon when the car is locked or unlocked, which is what I thought at first.
