You're telling me a 'simple sway bar' gives the car BMW ///M type handling? if you can get so much bang for so little buck, why didn't Tesla just include this as a stock feature?

I think it's pretty irresponsible to put sub par brakes on a 1000+hp car that has ridiculous high end acceleration, even if you're just commuting most of the time.

If you look at the configurator it actually updates the range when you select the bigger wheels.

they most likely went skinny on the tires for range. i swapped out the stock 20's on my performance 3 with 265's which fills out the wheel well, and lost about 25-30% range from it. no ragrets.

Thanks for the insight. If it truly is a 1.05 skidpad rating, I guess this is my next car. My biggest concern was that it would feel like the boat the Model S LR I drove once was.

did a couple tests today. i have eap. test 1: turn on EAP on road with stop sign result: AP saw the stop sign and told me to take over immediately, but did not slow down test 2: turn on EAP behind a car at a stop sign result: AP treated this as normal freeway stop and go traffic, and ignored...

i have 255's up front. no rubbing on a 20x9. next round i'll get 245's to see if it helps with range... 20x10 up front will stick out.

guess we'll need to see what the new quarter mile time for the p3d is to see the real difference.

Since a week or so ago, once in a while when I punch it, the car doesn't respond like it should. It's like it's on chill mode, or only one motor is engaged. Battery has been between 60-80% during these incidents and it happens once and goes away for a while. Haven't been able to recreate it on...

he was all smiles a couple lights down.. 'dude your car has sooOoOooo much torque'

meanwhile, my tires' traction didn't even break once. tesla is king.

Finally got my new rims .

Love these wheels. 20x9 all around wrapped in 255's. I was hoping for a square setup so I could rotate the tires, but the offset in the rear makes that not practical.
