Supercharger - Rancho Cucamonga, CA (12 V2 stalls)

I agree that Jurupa would be an excellent additional location, especially with all of the Eastvale build up. Those traveling through the Chino Hills/Pomona area would also benefit from having an SC at the 71/60. While we’re discussing additional locations, I’d love to see an SC station put in...

Supercharger - Rancho Cucamonga, CA (12 V2 stalls)

Good thing there’s 24 working chargers just 4 miles north at Falcon Ridge. I’ve mentioned to the RC service center about how often the VG superchargers are down and he said it’s being looked into. I also spoke with one of the repair techs working at VG’s SC site and he said that it goes down as...

Supercharger - Rancho Cucamonga, CA (12 V2 stalls)

I can verify that half were still down as of this morning when we stopped by. Will be using the Fontana Falcon Ridge urban chargers if/when I pass through this area again. I’ve been to SC’s in multiple states and even across Canada, and Rancho Cucamonga Victoria Gardens appears to be in worse...

    Cybertruck: Fan made commercial

Nice video. A shorter clip from 1:15-1:35 would make a perfect advert.

A gold plated Cybrtrk is inevitable

It didn’t take long before gold plated stainless steel DeLoreans or Apple Watches to appear. Now I’m not suggesting to go out and do this.. not at all. Just that history has shown it’s bound to happen.

    Cybertruck as a daily driver?

Yes. I plan on using the CT as a daily driver. My wife already uses a Model S as one, so why not use the CT as one as well? I opted for the dual motor, so 300 miles of range is more than sufficient, and the size is within the dimensions of an F-150, so yeah.. daily driver it will be :)
  35. Tes*la*rosa

    Fair tug of war?

Agreed. I’m looking forward to several more tug-o-wars of ICE vs electric. Denial will surely set in for many at first, but soon, millions of people will eventually get it. If that leads to “but try that against the Ford electric”, it’s a win either way as it will have been acknowledged that to...

    Fair tug of war?

Why doesn’t Ford just use their electric F-150 that was used to pull the trailer of trucks instead of backing out of the rematch? Both are prototypes, so seems fair imo. That would be a much better challenge, as it’s very predictable which truck will win (again) in the electric vs ICE rematch...

Cybertruck is NOT aerodynamically efficient - why the shape?

Are the boxy Tesla Cybertruck's aerodynamics any good? An engineer found out - Electrek Turns out, the aerodynamics are better than I expected.

    Cyber owl is from Bladerunner

Not sure if it’s already been mentioned, but it dawned on me yesterday that the owl in the reservation confirmation is a nod to the cyber genetic owl made by the Tyrell Corporation in the movie Bladerunner. I love that Elon & company are sci-fi fans!

I did. A dual motor AWD. Want the cyber quad as well
  41. Tes*la*rosa

    [Poll]- Is Cybertruck beautiful?

I ordered a dual motor and came into work to find 3 other coworkers ordered theirs too, with three others on the fence asking questions about how/where to charge, etc. It’s somehow more popular than I expected it to be! Oh.. and wrapping mine in a black carbon fiber or matte black for that...

Buying a used model S - need advice

Sad they are no longer offering CPO. Hopefully they bring it back, in some quantity or capacity. I’d definitely pay more for a CPO than a used one that didn’t even get the courtesy of a vacuum. Shows how little else went into the care of the vehicle. Thanks for sharing the free VIN check info...

Buying a used model S - need advice

Gross. I would not accept a car that was not vacuumed or cleaned. That’s the very least anyone would expect from a used car dealership. What do you mean “depending on who handles it”? If you’re buying from Tesla, they are handling it. If it is being delivered in the condition you stated, I would...

Buying a used model S - need advice

Second that for looking at Tesla’s website. Bought a CPO P85+ from Tesla.com, paid with ApplePay, and picked up at one of their delivery centers. Experience was seamless and the most enjoyable car buying experience I’ve had. All CPO’s from Tesla undergo a multipoint inspection, come with the...
