Getting a bit cheesed off with software glitches

Surely not, that couldn’t possibly happen at Tesla 😂😂

Getting a bit cheesed off with software glitches

When I spoke to Tesla they seemed to think it was installing and said I might break the window glass if I tried to open the door. Didn’t really want to risk it.

Getting a bit cheesed off with software glitches

It’s finally stopped so maybe it was just downloading. It’s asking If I want to install 44.2 but I need the car tomorrow so it won’t be installed tonight.

Getting a bit cheesed off with software glitches

Thanks for that I just checked and it was on advanced, it won’t be anymore. Probably dates back to when updates were less frequent and more stable.

Getting a bit cheesed off with software glitches

I think installing but not sure, it’s still going but I’m reluctant to try opening a door. Tesla said they couldn’t stop it so I assume it is installing.

Getting a bit cheesed off with software glitches

Well I think today has finally finished me off. Opened the app this morning 8am to find 2022.44.2 installing, it didn’t ask if I wanted to install it. It’s now 4pm and it’s going at a snail’s pace and up to 43% I called Tesla explained the situation and that I really needed to get into and use...

No TACC or Autopilot - Genuine issue or bad service?

I’m on 2022.36.2 and yesterday ap and tacc were unavailable. After a 90 mile journey with no cruise I then discover that the car won’t lock either from the app or the keycard. I’ve booked a service call but they’re not coming until Thursday. They tried to fix the door locking remotely but no...

Should LFP batteries be charged to 100%?

I have m3 2021 mic. I’m now retired and not doing a lot of miles, I usually only charge about once a week form 40 to 70%. I’m on octopus go so would toping up from 70 to 100% on the next day keep the bms happy?

Wiki Everything you wanted to know about Intelligent Octopus But Were Afraid To Ask

Really, not sure i’m not too happy about giving Tesla any chance of crawling out of a warranty claim.

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

Thanks for that, I see what you mean. They’re offering me a loyalty 12 month fix at 40.06/kWh I’ll contact them and see what they offer on IO.

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

I’m coming to the end of my fixed rate with octopus in August. I’m now retired so only expect to do 4 to 5000 miles a year. Wondering whether that sort of mileage would make IO a sensible move?

Should LFP batteries be charged to 100%?

Thanks Kelvin, I guess that clears it up.

Should LFP batteries be charged to 100%?

I’m sure the answer to this must be here somewhere but I can’t find it. Does the advice of not leaving the battery standing at 100% for long period also apply to LFP?

    Jack point damage M3

If it’s any consolation I got SC to check mine and they said the damage was insignificant. So annoying though and like myself I suspect you have no way of proving when the damage was done.

What is classed as a modification

    Thanks, I will.

What is classed as a modification

In software “full self driving capability included package” not tried summon yet but it’s doing everything else, Lane change, navigate on autopilot etc.. Not something I would have paid for but happy to get it thrown in👍🏻

What is classed as a modification

I have a M3 sr+ that I bought 4 months old. I’ve now had it a month and much to my delight I realise that it has FSD. At the time I insured it I told them it didn’t have FSD because I didn’t know it had, do I need to notify them?

    Your Cars Name?

I sent a friend of mine a pic of my lovely red M3. He replied OMG you bought a milk float!! At some stage he suggested “Ernie” and now I can’t undo that thought. I haven’t spoken to him since.

    Jack point damage M3

Just measured mine, less than 20mm👍

    Jack point damage M3

Yes. I ordered some when I bought the car and they arrived yesterday. Too late was the cry!!😩

    Jack point damage M3

So I picked up my 4 month old M3 SR+ last Friday. When I saw it in the showroom it had a scuffed alloy which the dealer promised to Refurb. I did point out that extreme caution was needed when jacking a Tesla. He assured me that his staff knew all about it and not to worry. I’ve just checked...

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

Well I finally gave in and bought it. I think they were coming up to month end targets and offered me an amount for my car I just couldn’t refuse. Picked it up last Friday and so far can’t find anything wrong with it. I know I can’t possibly know about it’s battery charging history but it’s LFP...

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

Doh!! White with black interior would have done nicely. I assumed there would be no more new inventory cars until q4 cars start to land late November? Where would I find a friendly Tesla sales assistant?
  26. M

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

Well it’s all gone a bit pear shaped with the used SR+ I would have ended up paying the same for a 4 month old car as a new one. Trouble is I really want one now so looks like I’ll have to order one, I see that sr+ delivery is now showing February so I suspect the chance of there being any...

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

Yes the price does reflect the 2100 paint. Unfortunately my wife now really likes the £2100 red paint🙄 Thanks for the Tesla info that’s reassuring.

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

Ok so now I’ve driven it, what I now know is I definitely want one. Still can’t decide if I should go for this or hold out for a new one. They’re offering me really good money for mine. At the end of the day I’m getting about 1500 off the price of a new red sr+. Its come from a lease company so...

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

Going to drive it tomorrow. I’ve really enjoyed my bmw 340i but i know it’s time for a change of direction and model 3 seems to be the only option if you don’t want an suv, and I really don‘t want an suv.

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

Yes maybe inventory is the way to. My BMW is due for service and mot end of December so I would like to move it on before I cop for a BMW service bill. The car I’ve seen is red and looks stunning, probably not much chance of dropping on a red SR+

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

I think I may go and have a look and a test drive tomorrow anyway. Would a Tesla reject have done 4000 miles🤔
  32. M

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

Thanks for the help guys, I think you’ve just confirmed what I was already thinking, it’s just that it’s there now and a bit tempting.
  33. M

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

It’s at a car supermarket and it’s just about same price as a new one ( before haggling) but they would probably retail my trade in so I’m thinking I might get more for it? I am a bit worried about where it’s come from unless it’s a returned lease car or something like that.
  34. M

Should I buy 4 month old model 3

Hi. I’ve seen a 4 month old model 3 with 4000 miles on it. Is it worth risking rather that a new one and what are the pit falls. it’s a SR+ registered June 21 with door trims so I’m guessing it’s MIC. Would that be LFP battery?
