    Supercharger - Jackson, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2020, 8 V3 stalls)

I visited this Supercharger the Monday after Thanksgiving. I was the only vehicle charging, and I was pulling a full 250 kW. We enjoyed a very nice lunch at Mel & Faye’s Diner. A pleasant experience all around. Next time you are charging here see if you can spot the SpaceX Starlink satellite...

Supercharger - Barstow, CA - Tanger Way (LIVE 26 May 2022, 20 V3 stalls, expansion in progress)

Visited this site during the week of Thanksgiving. The build-out of the site to its full capacity is well under way! Workers have already installed 13 additional V3 cabinets, and were getting ready to pull copper. There are already 20 existing Supercharger stalls, and 13 more SC...

MYP won't auto connect to Wi-Fi. "Unable to obtain IP address" error when manually connecting to wifi. Only a hard Reboot auto-connects successfully.

This worked for me! I have two Model 3s, and they both started throwing the "Unable to obtain IP address" error message about 6 weeks ago. My home Wi-Fi network was unchanged for years, but out of desperation to fix this issue I changed my 2.4 GHz band to support "b/g" (it was set to the...

    Supercharger - Redding, CA (LIVE 11 Oct 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

Stopped by today, on a Monday. The parking stall wheel stops are still AWOL - maybe they will never return? There was a nice-looking Rivian juicing up at the Chargepoint spot, not far from a Model Y with very aggressive-looking shoes! This thread doesn't have many photos of the immediate...

    Supercharger - Redding, CA (LIVE 11 Oct 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

Interesting that the photos show that the wheel chocks have been removed. I guess that's easier than re-striping the stalls. In any event, yes, Redding finally has a working Supercharger!

    Supercharger - Redding, CA (LIVE 11 Oct 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

I believe that the ChargePoint station shown in the photo is located in the parking lot next to the Sundial Bridge.

Supercharger - Bakersfield, CA - Copus Rd. (LIVE, 20 V3 stalls)

Charged here on Saturday, June 18, with no issues. The men‘s bathroom was clean; I have no information about the women’s. There is a Shell gas station being built immediately to the west of the Supercharger.

Supercharger - Barstow, CA - Tanger Way (LIVE 26 May 2022, 20 V3 stalls, expansion in progress)

I visited this Supercharger location on June 19th. All the photos below were taken on that date. There is a lot going on at this site, so I thought I would give a short write-up of what I saw. First, the Supercharger stalls that are currently in service. As previously reported in this tread...

Supercharger - Barstow, CA - Tanger Way (LIVE 26 May 2022, 20 V3 stalls, expansion in progress)

Visible in one photo posted by siromega is what appears to be pre-cast Supercharger pedestals (left-hand side of third photo). I would say extremely high probably of this being a Supercharger site! I only mention because the title of this thread still indicates "awaiting confirmation".

    Supercharger - Santa Nella, CA (LIVE 19 Aug 2022, 48 V3 stalls)

This photo was taken on Monday, October 25. It is the dirt lot on the north side of the Hotel De Oro. Now, what do you think all that conduit could be for? 🙂 If you really zoom in on the photo, you might just make out the worker in a safety vest who was measuring/marking off what looked like...

    Supercharger - Weaverville, CA (LIVE 10 Feb 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

A few more shots showing on-site conduit, as well as paint markings showing where trenching will be done.

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

I went by the site yesterday (Monday). I did not see any evidence of any construction work being done at the Supercharger site. But the Ditch Witch was gone, replaced with this enormous roll of conduit. There is a fair amount of utility work being done on Lakewood Drive, near where the...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

A large Ditch Witch ”vacuum excavation” unit has arrived on site. According to the operator’s manual I found online, it can be used for “soft excavation, including exposing utilities for visual verification and potholing”. I’m also guessing that it can clean that Honey Bucket lickety-split. :)...

    Supercharger - Redding, CA (LIVE 11 Oct 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

The "Underground Service Alert" spray paint markings in the field tell me someone is going to be digging up that lot pretty soon!

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

The plot thickens! I think is is safe to assume the transformer will be located on the (new) concrete pad. Regarding the new vault, I have two (speculative) thoughts: 1. This new vault will replace an existing, smaller vault that is located under/near the sidewalk north of the site (see...

    Supercharger - Inyokern, CA - Locust Ave. (LIVE 6 Sep 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

Other than the conduit arriving on site, not much progress to report. These photos were taken on Sunday, May 23rd.
  17. Z

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

I went back for another look. Without a doubt, the crew is running conduit between the transformer location and a subterranean service box/vault next to the sidewalk. They were also running pull tape through the new conduit.

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

After over a month of no visible progress, E-TECH is on site today! And indeed they are in excavation mode. It appears that they are extending the conduit from the transformer to under the sidewalk. If I have read the “service alert” paint markings correctly, there is PG&E service under the...

Supercharger - Fort Bragg, CA (LIVE 21 May 2021, 12 stalls)

I don't see a transformer in the photos. I do see what seems to be an empty concrete pad (to the right of the SC cabinets). It will be a race to get that installed and checked out by the 4th. But hey - "May the fourth be with us"! :)

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

The Underground Service Alert markings were updated/refreshed just a few days ago. I don’t know for sure, of course, but it certainly looks like E-TECH plans to excavate this area soon. A PG&E truck was parked there today. The gentleman inside of it told me he was there to do some...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

The transformer pad was installed today. The sidewalk and the parking lot are still intact.

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

Good news: Not only was E-TECH on site today (as usual), but so was Tesla and PG&E! They were very busy moving ahead on the PG&E transformer install. There are two transformer trenches actively being worked. In the first photo, a worker is standing in the north trench. It is headed...

    Supercharger - Williams, CA (LIVE 18 Dec 2019, 12 V3 stalls)

Here’s a photo of the four new stalls I took on Monday, March 22nd. Also visible is the third SC cabinet. @bmah Would it be appropriate to update the title of this thread to indicate 12 stalls?

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

This project is entering the final phases. All the wires have been pulled to the charging pedestals and the giant spools of copper wire now sit empty. The crew looks to be wrapping up a few final details, like painting. However, there is still no progress to report on the PG&E transformer...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

The parking lot paving was completed yesterday. The screen/fence is going up around the electrical distribution and SC cabinet hardware. All twelve charging pedestals are installed, but pulling electrical wire to each has not yet been done. There is no progress to report on the location where...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

    All pedestals installed! Looking good.
  27. Z

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

The curbing and sidewalk work look complete. But then the crew removed a large section of the parking lot asphalt! So more work to be done there. A new parking surface in that area will be nice. Looks like more trenching is planned on the project’s west side. So more asphalt work to be...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

Progress continues unabated. The site requires quite a lot of concrete curbing work, and now add to that what appears to be additional sidewalk access. I’m guessing the new sidewalk is located next to an ADA-compliant charging stall. The crew worked late on a Friday to get a great start on...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

Three SC cabinets have arrived on site, along with two other electrical cabinets. Four additional cement pedestal footings are also now on site (for a total of 12). Three of the footings are already placed (see photos), nine are awaiting installation. @bmah May I request that the thread title...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

The center concrete pad was poured today. The pad for the PG&E transformer is pre-cast and on site, as are also what appear to be three SC cabinet pads. The conduit trench for the 12 pedestals is quite deep. It looks like existing parking stalls that are adjacent to the SC stalls being built...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

Today I counted conduit in place for 10 pedestals, with 2 two more in-progress pedestal areas marked out with day-glow paint. Also on site now are what look to be 3 prefabricated cement SC cabinet foundations. This all points to 12 stalls total, which agrees with the building permit post from...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

Photos taken Thursday, Feb 4. Conduit for transformer, cabinets looks complete. Activity now seems centered around trenching/conduit for charging pedestals. Note in photos that the cement footers for the pedestals have arrived on site; I counted 8 footers total.

Just an update; photo taken Friday, Jan 29.

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

You beat me by three minutes! Really good odds that this is a new Supercharger, right? I mean, look at that electrical conduit! :)
  35. Z

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

Progress! A transformer was lifted into place this afternoon around 1:05 PM. The work was being done by Pinnacle Power, who had several trucks on site.
