Yes it is the wrap that causes the problem esp. in cold. My wrap expands around rubber in cold weather which causes air pockets and sensor not to work. When temp is warmer works fine.

Try AC ON, it removes it in a minute. That's the only solution as heat ON or defrost action doesn't help.

Turn on the AC when this message comes that’s the only way to remove the condensation in B pillar. It happens on the side when outside is cold and sun hitting in low angle at B pillar. I had car pre heat 45 minutes before my trip and depending on which direction to sun I drove condensation...

Problem is the vinyl that was installed. On a warm day it works and also works I use heat gun on the sensor wrap and push it in a bit. Once cold it stops working again.

From my 2021 model 3 efficiency is bad if you turn off heat in cabin compared to 2018 efficiency is bad if you turn on heat in cabin. for 2021 when heat is off during commute regen gets limited, with heat on regen goes back to normal. In my 2018 regen comes back to normal after some freeway...
