Actually the hardware was not capable either. I had to pay $1000 to upgrade the hardware in my 2018 so that I could subscribe to FSD. So basically nothing was capable in 2016.

Agree, which is also why I don't think we will see stats for this. NHTSA is more interested in high speed accidents than fender benders, especially in parking lots.

I also dislike the yoke. However I dislike the lack of stalks and no center horn more. Unfortunately the $700 does not fix those issues. IMHO they should provide the wheel upgrade for free, since it is fixing a design defect (for me at least).

For me definitely is more like 50% of the time, since I don't always inevitably hit the horn button. Wipers yes, horn, not so much.

Personally I prefer a round wheel like my 2018. The problem with the 2022 is the yoke does not slip nicely under your fingers, including the bottom part, especially when FSD is turning a corner. I generally need to completely let go of the yoke on turns, which is not the safest and I only do it...

Note, there is no special feature to detect you mashing the right side. It's just a matter of accidently pressing the horn button when you mash. So it is hit and miss. i.e. you miss the button and something will hit your car.

Just speculating, I could be a pre Raven AWD, which means the motors turn freely at low speed, i.e. regen does not stop the car, unlike later models where you have regen all the way to stop. Tesla is upgrading Model S/X with new, more efficient electric motors

Did you reboot the car? I usually always reboot after and update. Sometimes I forget and the car does weird things. A reboot normally fixes them.

The backup camera in our 2016 Sonata hardly ever got covered in rain water, whereas the Model S camera gets covered in a few minutes. I suspect the aerodynamics of the Sonata prevented water build up, or blew it off. So it is possible to reduce the impact.

The trick is to only charge to about 80% on road trips. Charging from ~20% to 80% takes about 15 minutes. Charging from 80% to 100% takes another 30 minutes! So basically every 200 miles stop, charge, rest room, coffee, and then back on the road!

Unfortunately not. Which is another reason I hate the yoke + buttons nonsense. I don't have this issue with the 2018 since it is very easy to use the stalk to single our double pull. For some reason I always seem to get it wrong trying to double tap the wheel on the yoke.
