Is my memory faulty? I seem to remember being able to set the target charge level to under 50%, until today. Seems like the app now only allows 50%+.

I had a simple question on the charge rate of a 110v charger and didn’t think it fit into that thread.

Thanks. 16amps max for 110v. So I’ve been using my Tesla wall charger even slower than a 110v plug, charging at the slowest 5a charge rate. I’ll speed it up to 15; don’t want the car’s systems on forever as I trickle charge it daily.

Basic question: how many amps does a 110v Tesla plug charge at? (15? 20?) Just curious as I have a Tesla wall charger where I can vary the charge rate from 5-48 amps.

I've never used a public charger before. Is there a way to slow down a public charger to avoid degradation of the battery? (I would only do this when there are a lot of empty spots and only to 70% or so. )

I second this response. Having had the PPF on top of the sensors (both front and rear bumpers), the sensors are still functioning perfectly and measuring distance accurately. 1000 miles so far.

Someone on another thread put it on the “neck” of where the screen is connected to the dash. Said it worked well while another person said it didn’t. Any experience? This would be the perfect place for me. No ugly transponder blocking sight lines AND no ugly reflection.

Here in California, they sell special Fastpass transponders with toggles for the number of passengers that give you discounts for using the carpool lane. Without it, they’ll do the license plate scan and charge you full price.

Was thinking of placing it right at the front of the sunroof behind the hazard light switch. Anyone think this wouldn’t work? I hardly ever look out the sunroof. As cool as it is, I’ve forgotten it’s even there many times.

No history yet for my 3 month old 1,000 mile Tesla but my Radrunner ebike has lost about 15% of capacity in 12 months use. Charged to 100% each time from 30% maybe 26x. That kinda sucks.

Is dust and dirt under some PPF edges typical? I find it in places where it was impossible to tuck in. How do you clean it out without making the PPF peel off worse?

I had no idea about the even amps. Why would Tesla even allow for odd amps then? I'm going to assume 59% is sarcasm.

How do the door locks behave while you’re driving or parked (while still sitting inside). I don’t want random carjackers being able to open the doors. Yet I don’t see any option to lock or unlock the doors on the screen or hand rest.
