Model X staggered wheels on Model S

Yes, it’s possible to use MX on MS with these specs: 20x9 ET 35MM & 20x9.5 ET 40MM. Tires 245/40 & 285/35 Slight rubbing on the front, when reversing under an angle, may occur (tire thread catching the wheel liner); similar rubbing to the stock 21‘‘ wheels with spacers. Hope this helps.

What is happening to my paint?

I would wet sand it, then a 3 stage machine polish. worse case scenario: you take off too much clear and need a new coat, for which you already did the prep.. You could even DIY the clear with 2K Spraymax cans if you’re on a budget.

OMG What the F is this?!!

I checked the parts catalog and the subframe bolt no. 3, has identical specs. I drove the car and under acceleration it pulls a bit to the right.. so I think there’s a good chance this bolt is indeed missing from the subframe. Can I easily put it back in from the bottom of the car? As far as I...

Facelift hood on nose cone MS.

Hello friends, I’ve just gotten back my front facelift bumper from the paintshop and installed it. I knew I would have this so called underbite, due to the shorter hood on the nosecone MS. From my due diligence I found out that the cleanest way to solve this aesthetic issue, would be to...

    Has anyone repaired cooling louvers?

I removed my louvres permanently. they are now always open. Depending on your weather, you can consider doing this.

OMG What the F is this?!!

So, as some of you might have seen in my other thread, I’m in the process of installing new bumpers on my car. I was just in the process of removing the rear pre-facelift underbody (protector) shield, when this bad boy dropped out onto the floor!! I cant seem to find where it’s coming from...

Model S pre-facelift to facelift Prior Design PD-S1000

Dear fellow Tesla enthusiasts, I am in need of your help! I’m currently in the process of fitting a Prior Design PD-S1000 bodykit to my 2015 P90D with AP (non-wide body). As some of you will know, the bodykit is made for the facelift Model S, but as the cars are so similar, I figured it...

Can you tell me your front offsets? And which rim brand / design? I’m looking into something with a concave effect myself, and the requirement of an ABE (for German TÜV).

Bought a used Tesla MS with damaged wheels, please help

First of all, thanks for providing your insights! These Vossen HF2 are (square) 30 ET x 9j, while factory is 40 ET x 8.5j So if I understood correctly, the 10 ET offset difference will push the Vossens 10mm outwards already (like a spacer) + 0.5j difference will push them outward 0.5 inch more...

Bought a used Tesla MS with damaged wheels, please help

I forgot to add that I'm aware of the difference in the center bore. RR has 72.6, while Tesla MS has 64.1; but I found metal rings to convert / fill the center to fit.

Bought a used Tesla MS with damaged wheels, please help

Dear fellow Tesla ethusiasts, Ater lurking in the shadows for a couple of days, I decided to register an account to ask my first question as a new Tesla MS owner. Long story short, after saving up I was finally able to buy a used Tesla Model S P90D (late 2015) a couple of days ago - even got...
